Great resource for Kuntao de Thouars
A bit confusing at times and a bit difficult to read. Great insights are shared by the author regarding his training history, the history of his family at the arts they teach. Highly recommend as a resource regarding Kuntao de Thouars.

Glad he wrote this
Glad he wrote this. The history of Indonesian arts is not as well documented as many other countries. I can only hope all the Old School players follow suit.

What a simple way to explain the lineage of a martial style, with great historical facts from a person who lived there to boot.

A Journey of a Lifetime!
I enjoyed this book. It is easy to read, has a lot of firsthand accounts on the author's adventures and also has advice for the reader on martial arts and life in general. The best feature of this book has to be the original artwork of the author. There is even an illustrated death touch chart in the book drawn by the author. I believe if this were the old days we would all fight to have this "secret manual" on martial arts. Good thing we can buy it on Amazon with FREE shipping. How cool is that?
