Encased iPhone Xs Max Case Purple (Rebel Armor) Military Grade Protective Heavy Duty Cover

I ordered this case as I purchased a Encased Scorpion case with holster for my IPhone X a year ago for under $20. The scorpion case was of excellent quality and included a belt holster that was also of excellent quality. The Scorpion case was described as “Military grade”. The proof is in the performance, I have dropped my IPhone X numerous times and this case protected my phone from damage each time. The Scorpin case was not available for my new IPhone XS max so I ordered the Rebel case which is also described as “Military grade”. Again the case is of excellent quality. When I placed the order I thought I had ordered the case with the holster but when it arrived the holster was not included. I checked my order and sure enough I ordered just the case. I contacted Encased customer service to determine if I could purchase the holster. Encased sent me the holster free of charge!! Customer service at it’s best!!! The holster is of very high quality as well. I do not know of any other phone case manufacturer that can supply a high quality case with a high quality holster for under $20. I highly recommend this case!

I got this case for my phone because it was affordable compared to other cases. It felt a little bulky at first but it didn’t take long for me to get used to. I grew to love this case! My toddler often watches shows on my phone while we’re out, so my phone got dropped lots of times. Never any damage! No chips or cracks, after a year of having it it came apart after a bad drop, but it still protected my phone! I just ordered a new one for my new upgraded phone and I love it also! I love the colors and it’s such a good product.

Edit: Still using this almost 2 years later, I’ve dropped my phone many times. I’ve even chipped the case on the top corner from a drop. I can’t believe it’s still holding up especially for the price. Maybe it’s time I order another.No complaints, I’m an Otterbox Symmetry user and have been for many years. Decided to give this a go at a much better price point. This case is excellent and I trust my IPhone in it. The lip also provides support when setting iPhone face down. Even enough so that it guards my tempered glass screen protector. Would recommend to anyone looking for this style of case, but with that being said quality isn’t as high, but for the price, I’ll take this over the Otterbox with no extra worry.

I bought this Rebel case in purple. I find this to be a good replacement to the Commuter case. I haven’t dropped my phone in this case yet so I cannot comment on how the durability is yet. I’m using a pop socket with it so that could be why. I agree with other reviewers regarding the case not lining up correctly with the camera on the back, it’s not a huge deal and doesn’t affect the performance of the camera at all. Overall, I give this case a 4/5.

The case arrived on time. The quality is as good or better than the $59 case I purchased with my phone. The difference is this case has 2 layers of protection while maintaining the same weight and thinness of the 1st case. I'm not sure why the outside hard shell comes in 2 parts but it's not an issue. I would like a few more color options. I didn't give a rating for durability as I've only had it for a few days. The way I'm always dropping my phone... I'll be back with a durability report in a month or so. So far, I'm happy.

09.25.2018 [ * ]I got the Max on 21st and tried this case and just as expected. One of the speaker hole on case expose some part of the metal and I don’t like the look. The upper hard cover has even more gap. Last is I really can’t get pass the smell. I also order 4 other different brands of cases and none of them had smell but this one. Sorry it’s going back!09.19.2018 [ * * * ]Just got the case today and here are the things I don’t like already1. the colors aren’t as vibrant as pictured.2. the TPU has a weird smell which I hope it goes away by time.3. the upper hard cover doesn’t go all the way in which left a little gap at the TPU where printed Rebel.4. Speakers holes are equal on each side at the bottom which XS Max has 4 & 7 little holes. The case will expose some metal part on the 3 holes speaker side. Unless you don’t mind.5. Since 6+ is just slightly smaller than XS Max so I tried it on. It’s a snug fit! So I wonder it may be really tight on Max and the cover gap probably will be even bigger.My phone is on the 9/21 shipment and I will see how it fits and update my review.

For the cost I love this case. I didn’t think it was too slippery at all. I haven’t dropped it yet. I had it for about 2 weeks before I put on the PopSockets I ordered from amazon as well. The PopSockets stayed on great. It fit around the camera great. I haven’t tried it with a wireless charger yet but others have said that works well too. I would recommend to anyone.

I haven't used this brand before, but so far, I'm very happy. The case is sturdy and the color is perfect for me. I like the inner 'soft shell; with the outer hard shell. The XS Max is much heavier than my previous phone, and the case doesn't seem to add very much weight.

Adds a lot of protection, but it adds a lot of bulk to the phone, which is already pretty big. I ended up swapping this out for a Spigen Thin which made the XS Max feel tiny after months of using this case.

Personally did not like the case...felt like the material was cheap (it is a value priced phone case after all). Mine came in defective and or warped on first application. Spend a little more and get better quality to protect your phone.

The case is ok. I wouldn’t buy it again but I wouldn’t say it’s horrible; It does the job.

It fits perfectly on iphone max! Gives a great look and protects from water. Great item to have
