Best in class for it's purpose
Edit 4/9/17: After using this for a few days I'm mostly happy with it. Watching Netflix/ YouTube using both my phone and ps4 is great, it uses less power than my psvr so I don't have to run my truck as often if I'm down for a day at a truck stop. The only, and I mean ONLY real issue I have is the pitiful sound level. I connect it to a portable speaker or headphones. I shouldn't complain as there isn't much room these for a quality speaker but it seems worse than my phone...I don't regret buying this, but be prepared for this. It's light, thin and has fantastic image quality, likely the best of this type of monitor. You can get better monitors for the piece, but if you need portability this is the top end of what's available. My only complaint is that the volume is really low, but that's what the audio jack is for. This does what is promises, it's first and foremost an ultralight, thin gaming monitor not a surround sound movie theater experience!

Full Touch Screen on the road! High quality image, very clever design of protective cover and stand. Winner for road warriors!
The On-Lap 1530I is quite a remarkable portable touch display! As I type this I am using the On-Lap for the first time during a two week business trip in Asia in combination with my ThinkPad Yoga 12.5, and it's working really well!My use case is for longer business trips where, for better or worse, work must be accomplished in both a hotel room and the local office, and in the hotel, I wanted a dual screen dual touch setup. I've been a touch screen/tablet PC user for over a decade, so I'm now much more efficient with touch screens as part of my workflow than with keyboard and mouse alone. Further, I have dual touch screen setups at both home and office, so I REALLY appreciate and utilize the extra screen real estate of dual or triple screens. The net is that I needed a portable screen that was also touch enabled to be more efficient when on the road. The combination turns out to be rare, but a bit of searching turned up the Gechic On-Lap 1503I. Order placed, screen received, packed in my carry on.So, here I am in Singapore looking out over the Bay and working with a fully touch enabled dual screen setup from my hotel room! Excellent!Setup was quite easy, but do note, this is NOT USB EzLink type display where power, video signal and touch all pass over a single USB3 connection. I have one of these from Asus ASUS MB169B+ 15.6" Full HD 1920x1080 IPS USB Portable Monitor that I was using before the On-Lap 1503, and, while inexpensive and helpful during travel, it lacked both touch and overall display quality. The On-lap is superior in every way except for the simplicity of the single USB connection. Further, the Asus developed a vertical row of bad pixels within a couple of trips, so was not tough enough for me. Of course I try to take very good care of these portable screens when traveling, but the screen still has to hold up under travel conditions.I have the On-Lap connected in the following way: First, power in via the supplied USB C to dual USB A cable. USB A end goes into USB 3 hub connected to my laptop. Other USB A end goes to iClever boost cube [Dual Quick Charge 3.0] iClever BoostCube+ 36W Dual USB Wall Charger, SmartID Charging Compatible Quick USB Charger for iPhone 7/iPad, Samsung Galaxy S7/S6/Edge, Note 5/4, LG G5, HTC and More(IC-BC01) . While I could have used the included USB brick, I was already using the boost cube for it's multiple outlets. Working fine. Second, HDMI out from my TP Yoga into 1530I via the included cable. Turned on the On-Lap, and everything from there was plug and play. Drivers loaded automatically for the screen and touch (laptop is Win7 Enterprise, would guess Win10 would work at least as well). Hot keyed to my External-Display-Presentation settings for two displays in Display Fusion Pro and I was up and running with full dual screen, dual touch setup!Ran some quick tests of the touch sensitivity and use with both finger and capacitive stylus (not included, used the pretty good Wacom Bamboo Wacom Gen. 3 Bamboo Stylus Duo with ballpoint pen for Kindle Fire, iPad Pro, iPad, Windows tablets & Samsung Galaxy (OLD MODEL) ). TOUCH/NAVIGATION response to finger and stylus is excellent! Ability to draw with either finger or stylus is good, though not as good as the Wacom Digitizer + Lenovo Active Stylus on my ThinkPad Yoga. Note that the On-Lap does NOT include a digitizer layer, nor does it claim to. Thus, if I need real pen and paper like drawing accuracy, I use the TP screen. The On-Lap is very good with a stylus given that it does NOT have a digitizer, update speed when marking/inking with either your finger or a capacitive stylus is fast enough to do basic mark-up like circles, arrows, even a bit of slightly squigglie text, but not for any kind of serious drawing or note taking.Pros+ Excellent image quality at full HD resolution. Plenty of brightness, fine pixel size, good saturation, accurate color. All superior to the Asus MB169B++ High quality Touch capability, good with capacative stylus. Navigation Excellent. Markup/annotations Good (about as good as I've seen for capacitive screen). Text notes OK, but not great. Not for serious drawing or note taking.+ VERY complete kit, everything you need to use on the road!+ EXCELLENT protective cover, survived in my carry on and once, in my CHECKED bag! Of course, was carefully padded by clothing, but the design of the screen + cover is both robust AND compact.+ Super clever magnetic stand, best I've ever seen for utility plus compactness.Cons- Two wire/three connection setup required for Power, Video Signal + Touch signal. Not difficult, but not as simple as single USB connection like EzLink screens.- Must carry the "propriety" video cables (described as proprietary in the manual, though I've not investigated this) and not loose them. Simple enough, but on the road, if you do loose them, may be difficult to replace. I have all the cables/charger/manual that came screen packed in the smallest Eagle Creek zip pouch, so not too worried, added space required is quite modest.Included a photo of the screen next to my laptop screen. Of course, photos of computer displays are never great, but it will allow you to get a feel for both the setup/size, and, relatively, the quality compared to my laptop screen, which is very good.I did not deduct any stars for the cons, as they are VERY worth it to me to have a truly portable, touch enabled second monitor with high image quality. If your needs are similar, highly recommended!

GeChic 1503H has a MAJOR design flaw with the cover that renders the side power buttons completely useless after a few months.
I purchased the monitor June of last year, and I also purchased the rear dock for the 1503, which is a must have in order to reduce the amount of proprietary cables that you must cary and inserting it on the side of the monitor. So I had a few issues with the initial monitor sent to me and it was not being picked up by my windows computer as a touch screen. Contacted GeChic's service department via email, and they told me to return it to Amazon since it was still within the window of the exchange grace period. But they really did not provide much support on how to get it up and running to make sure it was not my hardware, etc. Anyways, I returned the first monitor back to Amazon, they were great and sent out a replacement.Got the new monitor, set it up and finally got the touch screen aspect to work. Started using it with my Samsung Galaxy phone and the DEX, and it worked great for a while But I read it in another reviewers comment, that the included hard cover that is supposed to protect the monitor during transport on my business trips, also impinges and crushes the most important power button on the side of the monitor. After a few months I noticed the button was getting harder to push and activate the monitor due to the cover constantly pressing on the buttons when stored and transported. I was almost thinking of cutting out a space so the buttons wouldnt be smashed by the snug cover that wraps over them, but I am sure that would void any sort of warranty (if there is any for this obvious design flaw). So I have contact GeChic once again and have sent images and serial numbers and original receipt of the monitor from Amazon, so we will see what happens. But, if you are doing research and looking to buy this monitor, I would look else where or figure out another way to protect your expensive investment - other than using the hard plastic cover that come with it. The cover was poorly designed and causes the product to not last long especially access to the main buttons on the side of the monitor. It looks like they have redesigned the cover for the newer models the 1305H and such. So if you are still in the market for these monitors I would go with the newer models since these older ones have a serious issue that will cause it be a very expensive non-functioning monitor in a couple of months.I will update this review once GeChic recognizes the flaw and replaces or repairs the faulty monitor and cover design. Fingers crossed.Update: Heard back from Gechic service department and they are telling me the case is not the fault. And i will have to repair it myself. I am pretty sure the repairs will cost more than the original price. Dont expect any customer service from GeChic. Stay tuned.Thank you for your email. We are sorry to cause you any inconvenience. However, the cover does not press the buttons. The cover is the tailor design for the 1503I monitor. Hence, it’s impossible to press the buttons. The buttons on your monitor might be loosen. Please contact our disti in the US for repairing the monitor.icitouchtech.com

Nice display but a few too many losable parts.
The display is crisp, readable and matt so very little in the way of reflections which is great. The USB-C port is for power only, my laptop has a USB C port but plugging into this with a C-to-C lead does nothing at either end so the USB-A-to-C lead must be used. It still has the tiny HDMI port on the screen, nothing standard yet. The monitor comes with a cover which is not attached and doesn't act as a stand like on my previous Gechic monitor, it has clips that are only attached via magnets so these will just come off and get lost somewhere. There is a rubber cover in the extra rear docking port which is not really held in with anything so that too will get lost quickly. The cover feels like it will crack quickly. Basically it's a good screen but I don't think it's really put together with frequent travelling in mind. The USB-C port is a bit of a puzzle, so far I've plugged it into standard USB-C chargers, and also into USB-C ports on a couple of computers, but it's never reacted to any of them, won't draw power from the power supplies, doesn't present itself as a USB device or video adapter on the computers or draw power from them either, at the moment it seems the USB-C port is really only able to work with the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable.

Excellent monitor and excellent service from XBC
Gechic 1503H is a fantasctic monitor - XBC sent it 24 hour delivery even though that wasn't specified - excellent service to deliver an excellent product. The monitor XBC supplied had a UK power supply - important to note!Would definitely buy from XBC again(I ordered one of these from another reseller, but that came with an EU power supply, so was sent back)

Love it
I needed a portable 15 inch monitor to carry in my back pack particularly for work. I was concerned that it may be too thick but received it today and it's fine. Not as thin as one would like but fine for me. Comes with a magnetic stand and screen plastic cover, a USB power cable, power adapter and HDMI cable. I bought a VGA to HDMI adapter separately which works fine with the cable provided.

Very handy portable monitor
This is a nice item to own. Haven't really used it much other than test it, but looks like it should work well. It's quite portable, it comes with a plastic cover which protects the front of the screen, would be even nicer if it came with a protective zip up soft case. There's quite a range of colour options, adjustments that can be made, but I couldn't quite make it look exactly the same as the tablet I am using with regards to the colours, but it's quite acceptable.

... phone on to the monitor and that too worked great.
Works well with an Anker Powerbank as power supply source and have since bought an adapter to use so that I can project my videos on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone on to the monitor and that too worked great.
