I have been a person who used the full-nail, glue on nails; off and on for years. As you can see from the pictures I have short stubby fingers and long nails make them look better. So after seeing my nails become gradually weaker and weaker as time went on as well as getting ridges in them; about a year ago I decided to stop using the fake nails all together.Nail glue is very hard on our nails as I am sure anyone who uses fake nails can tell. Wearing fake nails also makes them grow weak, thin, brittle and dry.I decided to try this because the description and most importantly the reviews were mainly very positive. I got the small bottle and it worked so well that I got the large bottle later on.I do apply it differently than the directions say since I found out what works best for me. I apply 3 coats the first day and most importantly I also apply thin coats under the tip of my nail that is exposed, you know, the back side of the nail. I feel that this gives more support . Then every day for the next 4 or 5 days, I will add another layer of polish to my nail and under the tips.What I find is that my nails do grow and this product does not make them rigid, but they are still somewhat flexible and can bend. We don't really want the nail so rigid that if we hit something with our nail tip that it breaks them, so the ability to bend a little is a good thing.I have noticed also, as a byproduct of having used pure acetone to melt the fake nails off that my nails are extremely dry and will get little vertical splits in them. Once they started growing out, I noticed that a few of them do that.After some research I found that it is because they are so dry, so I use raw Shea butter on them in between using Nail Magic.I wear Nail Magic a week at a time and then remove it with acetone remover, (not pure acetone). I then let me natural nails just breathe and be free of any polish. During this time I use the raw Shea butter quite often, after I wash my hands, do dishes, or do laundry, or any time they are looking dry.I also have decided to switch to non-acetone remover since that is better than using the drying acetone remover.The first 6 months I used this, I slowly saw improvement. It takes a long time to recover from abusing your nails and so if you get this don't expect an overnight instant fix. But I can tell you and you can see that if you continue to use this product, you will get wonderful results.

This product works great and much better than OPI and other nail strengtheners on the market that are much more expensive. Follow the directions and give it a few weeks to set in. You won't be disappointed.

I love this product! I bought it to strengthen my nails so I could finally grow them out and it works. I bought it back in October of 2020 and have been using it religiously ever since and I recommend this product whole heartedly 10/10 and I definitely will continue to purchase it. Before my nails were very weak, brittle, they would flake and rip constantly and I couldn’t grow them out at all because they’d tear so easily. Now they are healthy, strong and beautiful. They do still tear because that is inevitable but it’s very rare when they do.
