I feel like a kid again when I play with this artwork. It makes me so happy!

I have a love-hate relationship with this product. I absolutely loved it when I first got it. It produced beautiful landscapes with peaks, shading, foregrounds/backgrounds and almost a 3D look. It captivated and mesmerized me. I would have given it 5 stars. After two months it started to go fast and flat like. I diligently and carefully added air in small increments to the picture and I could not get it regulated. I watched all YouTube videos and even communicated with the company. What used to bring relaxation, now brings total frustration. My current rating with my current sand art? I give it 3.5 stars. I believe in second chances so am willing to buy one more and am hoping to have a longer-lasting product and effect.

The sand art hasn't ever fully worked. I've tried adding and taking away air but nothing has helped.

So, it looks a little tacky in the photo posted here, but the colors are much more subtle and beautiful in real life. I have another sand picture with clear glass instead and while it's a little more classy looking, the sunset in this sand picture makes the picture look so much like a real landscape, it's like looking at an ever changing postcard. It's truly beautiful. Four stars only for two reasons: 1) I don't really care for the maple color, doesn't look as high end as some of the other wood options and unfortunately the sunset only comes in maple. 2) the stand is very flimsy and broke in no time. But it works fine without it as it's sitting on a shelf anyway.I bought this sunset one for my husband's office, got one for myself (round, with clear glass) and bought another one for my mom, that's how much I love these sand pictures! Adjusting the air/water level with the syringe is very easy.

I bought this sand picture for my husband for Christmas. Watching the sand shift to create a new landscape each time the picture is rotated is almost hypnotic. I'm having as much fun with this as he is, maybe more! The picture comes with hardware for mounting it on a wall so it can be rotated easily. There is also a rudimentary prop-like stand if you prefer not to hang it on the wall, but frankly, this prop arrangement doesn't seem very secure, and I'm afraid the picture could be knocked over very easily. An instruction booklet is included, as are a couple syringes for adding or removing air. We haven't felt a need to make and adjustments, but adding or removing air affects how fast the sand falls. All in all, a very nice item.

Purchased two of these as gifts and they were a hit!!! I liked the blue frame of the northern lights version over the sunset but it is cool to see the sand make new shapes as you turn the frame. My only beef is these are frames and it would be easier to have one of these for an office desk if it was sitting in a base. Now the picture does come with a special frame holder where you can mount to wall and turn, also comes with a stand (not too sturdy). Overall was a great gift choice and I would buy again.

I still don't have the bubbles right but the scene is pretty and there are many ways to enjoy it!!
