Gildan Youth Hoodie Sweatshirt, Style G18500B

Picked this up for my kid and it’s a solid everyday hoodie. True to size, soft on the inside, and warm enough for cooler weather without being too bulky. It’s not super fancy, but that’s kind of the point-it’s just a dependable, comfortable sweatshirt that can handle school, play, and washes without falling apart.

I purchased this children's hoodie jacket 2 years ago as a school uniform jacket for both of my kids and we are still using them to this day ! The material is comfortable, perfect for keeping my babies warm during colder days. The fit is true to size(i ordered a small for my 5yr old and a medium for my 7yr old) and the quality of the stitching is excellent, ensuring durability even with lots of active play, and the color has not faded at all ! Highly recommend!

Might just be my child's head but it is very difficult to take off for him. Once its on it fits great but a super tight squeeze getting the hoodie up and over his head. Maybe sizing up would help, but I still see this as a tighter fighting jacket around the neck and I wanted something more loose and comfy.

I don't usually write reviews but I read them all the time. I feel compelled to review this item because I am very pleased with the quality for the price. It is a nice thick sweatshirt, warm but not super heavy. It washes up beautifully with a minimum amount of shrinkage. It is not as soft as a 100% cotton sweatshirt would be but is really nice for a 50/50 blend. I agree with other reviews that this sweatshirt runs small. I ordered a youth XL which is supposed to be equivalent to a 14-16. My son is a solid size 12 so I expected it to be pretty roomy but it fits him perfectly. A Large (10-12) would have been way too small. For reference he is 58 inches and about 87 pounds.

My son loves these. The head hole was a little tight but he likes it "so the cold can't get in around his neck". Very soft inside and holding up well on the outside.
