I bought these so that we can keep a shovel handy on our sxs. Previous anytime we remembered to take one it got tossed in bed and was in the way of our two dogs who go everywhere with us. This is set up will be way better for us.

I bought these to mount a shovel and an axe to the 2” roof rack on my Jeep. The clamp that mounts to the bar is rock solid. The rubber clamp that holds the tool is junk and is way too large to clamp down securely on my shovel (1”+ handle) or even my full sized, single bit axe. After some research I found that the company that makes the rubber clamps makes a smaller version, so now I have to spend more money. Also, you would think you would have several options on mounting orientation, but that is not the case. With the way the rubber clamp hangs half way off the base plate there is nothing to support it for mounting inverted or even vertically, so you’re stuck with one orientation option. Save your money and buy the roll bar mounts and tool clamps separately from other vendors to make sure they fit your exact need.
