Our little guy, Norman Charles, has battled with allergies and anxiety for the past couple of years. It's resulted in lots of trials and journal writing for us to get his conditions under control. One of the things I looked at was changing all the proteins in his diet. It's hard to find something that doesn't have chicken in it! These were recommended at the pet store we get his food at.At first, the price was a bit of a sticker shock, but thankfully Amazon's Subscribe & Save makes it a little cheaper. Either way, I'd still spend the money as these are limited ingredient and don't have chicken in them. The individual wrapper is a little wasteful, but they stay fresh and I can split one chew up between Norman and his brother, Pappy, who also gets a fish oil supplement. When Norman needs his allergy pill twice a day (which happens intermittently), I can easily get 3 doses out of one chew. They can be a little crumbly when breaking apart or wrapping around a pill, but that doesn't really bother me as they're still moist enough to collect the little pieces back into the chew.As for the flavor, I may not be able to personally speak to that, but both dogs look forward to getting their medicine and get impatient when they hear the wrapper being opened. I'll take that as a great positive. So, limited ingredient, no chicken protein, ease of giving medication plus auto delivery...I'll take that as a win! (Note: Picture is using only one half a chew for 2 fish oil supplements)

They are the best pill pockets I’ve ever used! The taste must be yummy, because the dogs swallow it before even thinking about chewing it or wallowing it around in their mouth.Note: do not touch the pill. I use tweezers to place it in the pocket. This is very soft, so it’s pliable, then blended well enough to use your fingers to wrap it. You can’t go wrong with Pill Buddies!Oh yeah, they are comfortably priced with similar products. I got the duck flavor, so now the pups go around quacking. ☺️

So happy to find a pill pocket that doesn't have chicken or other animal flavors. My dog has food allergies so these are perfect for her. She gets so excited when she sees me getting her pill wrapped and ready! Easy to use and stay fresh because they are individually wrapped. The only thing is that I only use half of a wrap, so you can't keep the second half sealed for freshness. But I use them daily so, for me, that's not a problem.

I purchased the 30 count of these because they said natural and my dog has to be has to have pills 2 x a day for the rest of his life because he has seizures. I was please with the product and he eats them without any fuss. I then ordered the "same" product just in the 90 count. When I received the new bag I noticed some differences that is frustrating to me. In the two pictures you can see the illusion that they are the same thing but if you compare, they are NOT! THE 30 count bag says nothing artificial and roasted chicken recipe. The 90 count bag does not list the nothing artificial on it and it says "with" chicken. The color between the two pill treats are noticeably different and the 30 count has the logo on each individually wrap pill pocket, as to where the 90 count bag looks different and there is nothing written on the wrapped packet.The ingredients are different also. The 90 count says chicken paste...ewwwAnd the 30 count says chicken.All that to say. I am returning them and going to buy the 30 count bag again. It's just irritating to try and find better options for our fur babies when these companies are just trying to pull something over our eyes to make it look like the same product. I have enough to worry over with him having seizures. I don't need to be giving him more harmful things when they are supposed to be a more natural option!

I recently purchased the Presidio Pill Buddy Naturals - PB & Apple Recipe Pill Hide as a natural alternative for my dog who requires daily medication.These pill hides have been a game-changer in administering his pills, as he used to be very finicky and would often spit out his medication. The PB & Apple flavor seems to be quite appealing to him, and he eagerly gobbles up his pill hidden inside. The soft texture of the hide makes it easy to mold around the pill. However, I noticed that occasionally the pill hide can become a bit sticky and leave a residue on my hands. They come individually wrapped, which is a nice plus to help keep them fresh. Overall, I am pleased with this product and would recommend it to pet owners struggling to give their pets medication.

UPDATE: I finished the bag like I said. The fridge did work better. I was satisfied so bought another bag. I now am able to cut the two pill pouches using four pieces at different times to feed one small pill. I push the pill down & squeeze the sides simultaneously. I will continue to buy these. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I bought these treats b/c of the good ingredients. But they are very crumbly. Makes a mess. I took the suggestion of the one purchaser who squishes the treat then folds over the pill. Breaks and crumbles. Yes I’m able to feed it to my dog anyway. But not worth the hassle. I even put the treats in the fridge, still no good. Will finish bag but will not buy again.

These pockets for pills for dogs are perfect. Initially, I was surprised that in each packet is actually 2 pockets.However, they are great and soft.I am able to insert the pill and mold the pocket around the pill. My Riley is very wary of pills but loves these pockets.AND the packaging is minimal allowing for less waste..👍

The flavor I order does not contain chicken and it's a soft pill. This is outstanding. My youngest pug is allergic to chicken amongst everything else like grass. It's important to keep her allergens to a minimum even though she has cyto shots and takes apoquel. And all of my pugs love the taste.I do wish the company would bring back the liver flavor though.
