Reliable Backup Air Pump with Great Portability
I’ve been using this Air Pump as both a backup for power outages and for occasional outdoor use, and overall I’m really happy with it. The rechargeable battery is a huge plus — it gives peace of mind knowing my tank will stay oxygenated if the power goes out. Charging via USB is convenient, and the battery life has been solid in my experience. The adjustable airflow is another standout feature. It’s strong enough to handle larger tanks (I’ve tested it on a mid-sized setup), and the airflow control makes it versatile for different tank sizes. For fishing trips or transporting fish, it’s lightweight and easy to bring along. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s not completely silent at higher airflow settings. It’s fairly quiet on lower settings, but you’ll notice a hum when it’s turned up. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if your tank is in a bedroom or very quiet space. Overall, this is a dependable, portable air pump that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great value for the features and a smart investment for emergency backup

Super quiet, USB-C with charging cord, Long battery
Great little air pump. I had an issue with an internal filter, and this pump had arrived the day before. I was able to move the media into two diy air driven filters and use this to power them. QUIET: Very quiet, basically silent. I was able to sleep with this on in my room no problem, when usually an air pump would keep me up. I have regular plug in air pumps that aren't as quite as this, not to mention other battery pumps. CHARGE: This came ~75% charged, and I ran it for ~6 hours before I decided to plug it in for overnight. USB-C, and comes with a cord. A nice step up from USB-micro, which many of these rechargeable pumps are. Easier to find a cord when you need it. EASE OF USE: Buttons are easy to use and there are three. Has two modes, constant and the intermittent 15-sec on and off. Use the latter in situations were you need the battery life to last the longest. -Can also be set to turn ON when power is disrupted. (Plug it in, turn it on. Then press the power button once. It will turn off, but if you unplug it, it will switch to internal battery and turn on) This is great for setting up as an automatic backup. Even if power goes out when you are at work or asleep, this will turn itself on, and be at full charge. AIRLINE/STONES: Generous amount of airline tubing provided, not stiff stuff either. Even for my 125, the length they give would be enough. The stones are about the size of a gumball. I soaked them a bit before use, and they have been working fine. NOTE: This is good for a backup air pump or for longer use in small tanks. I wouldn't have this as my main air pump in my 125, but I would use it in a power outage for that tank to help keep the media in my canister filter alive. (I pull out the media, rinse in clean dechlorinated water, and put it in a little bucket or bowl or something, with the air stones at the bottom.) PRICE: Is good for a two outlet rechargeable air pump. Would definitely pay the few bucks extra to get the bigger one. I have some other AQQA products and have been happy with them all. Very pleased with this and would recommend!! (P.S. The sponges are fluval foams, been using them for probably 5 years now. The 'refill' ones last for years and years. The ceramic rings are AQUANEAT and Marineland)

A great backup air pump for power outages.
This little pump is great for what it is. It is relatively quiet when running, and has enough power when running on battery to deliver decent air flow. At 100% airflow, it appears to provide less airflow than the Whisper 100 pumps I have in place for daily use, but as a backup in extended power outages, it delivers plenty air to keep the aquarium oxygenated and fish alive. The air flow is adjustable between 4 settings indicated as quarterly percentages. The indicator lights for the battery charge double as the indicator for the air flow setting. The Mode button provides functionality for intermittent airflow to conserve battery. For this to be a benefit, it is imperative to use check valves to keep water from flowing back up the air lines and they needing to be forced back through the air stones. I would hope that everyone knows to use check valves anyway. Speaking of air lines, air stones, and check values - this has two of each, and two air ports on the pump itself. It also includes a USB a to USB C charge cable, but no charge block is included. One oddity I noticed is that, when it is plugged in to charge, you can power on and off as expected, but if you have it powered off and then unplug the USB charge cable, it turns on. Unexpected functionality, but of value if you have it in the aquarium as an additional backup for only when power goes out. If used in this manner, however, make sure that you check air flow through the air stone from time to time as air stone do clog over time. Size wise, this has a smaller footprint than the Whisper 100. It has good weight, which I presume is mostly from the battery. The shell itself is rigid plastic that does not have any give when squeezed in hand or pressed upon in various places.

Reliable, Quiet, and Extremely Versatile Air Pump — Works Perfectly
I absolutely love this aquarium air pump. It works perfectly and has quickly become one of those items you don’t realize how useful it is until you have it. The performance, ease of use, and versatility really make this stand out from standard air pumps. One of my favorite features is the built-in rechargeable battery. Knowing that it automatically kicks on during a power outage gives so much peace of mind, especially for larger tanks or more sensitive fish and plants. The airflow is strong and consistent, and it easily provides plenty of oxygen without stressing fish or disturbing the tank environment. The adjustable airflow levels are a huge plus. Being able to choose between multiple output strengths makes it easy to customize for different tanks, plants, or setups. Whether you need gentle aeration or maximum output, it’s simple to adjust with the press of a button. The included tubing length is also convenient and ready to use right out of the box. I also really like the two operating modes. The continuous mode works great for everyday use, while the intermittent mode is perfect for conserving battery life when needed. The battery life itself is impressive — it lasts a long time on a single charge, even at higher airflow settings. Another big highlight is how quiet this pump is. It runs smoothly with minimal vibration and noise, making it ideal for indoor use, even in living spaces or bedrooms. The anti-slip feet help keep it stable and reduce sound even further. What truly sets this pump apart is how versatile it is. You can use it for fish tanks, plant aeration, transporting fish, outdoor fishing, or as an emergency backup during outages. It’s lightweight, portable, and incredibly easy to use, making it great for both home and on-the-go use. Overall, this is a high-quality, well-designed air pump that delivers excellent performance and reliability. If you’re looking for a quiet, rechargeable, and dependable aerator for your aquarium or fishing needs, this is a fantastic choice and well worth it. 🐟💧

It is not good for larger aquariums or serious use.
I was not happy with this aquarium air pump. The USB rechargeable feature sounds convenient. The performance does not meet my expectations. The airflow is weak at the highest setting. This makes it not enough for a 60-gallon tank as it said. I also see that it does not stay quiet. The adjustable controls feel weak. They do not make much difference in the airflow. During power outages, the pump runs for a short time. It needs another charge quickly. This decreases its usefulness as a backup. Overall, I wanted stronger and quieter performance for the price. I also wanted better battery life. This pump might be okay for very small tanks. It is not good for larger aquariums or serious use. I would say look for a more powerful and reliable option.

Great for a power outage or travel.
This is a really nice rechargeable air pump. It is well made and seems very durable. The pump comes with a USB charging cord, 2 lengths of air tubing, 2 air stones, 2 check valves, and 2 suction cups. The air pump is very easy to set up and use. It also has some really nice features. The pump has 2 modes, which are continuous and intermittent air flow. The intermittent mode is really nice for conserving battery life. The pump also has 4 power levels at 25, 50, 75, and 100 percent. The pump has 2 outlets that can supply 2 air stones at once. There are 4 rubber feet on the bottom to help reduce the noise level. The pump is a great option to have on hand in case of a power outage. It is also really nice for travel. I occasionally buy fish in other cities, and the pump works great for aeration and keeping stress levels low. It would also work great for aerating live bait for fishing. Overall, I am very happy with it. It is a good value for a quality air pump that is portable.
