First time trying a “cleaner” dishwasher tab. I think it worked just as well as the big brands, but perhaps less shiny, which doesn’t bother me. I like that there’s a less toxic alternative and this fit the bill.

This is epsom salt, no added scent or anything, and that is what I wanted. I'm using it for foot soaks and it is nice and relaxing. Sometimes I add a little lavender oil. I use organic and that is what this is. I have used Sky Organics other products and have always been quite happy with their stuff. They are a company that I trust.

I have a couple of genetic mutations which predispose me to chronic mold sickness, as well as prevent my body from being able to adequately detoxify itself, leading to my body gradually becoming literally 'poisoned' by mold and the build-up of countless toxins that we're all exposed to every day in our polluted air and water, food, personal products, cleansers, perfumes and other synthetic "scented" products (= more air pollution), VOC's off-gassing from furniture and building materials, and almost everything else in our modern day surroundings. (It's A LOT !) So, in addition to a clean, organic, detox diet and detox supplements, taking epsom salt baths, ideally 3 or more days per week, is an important part of my physician-prescribed detoxification regimen. These baths are a necessity for me, but they also actually FEEL like a luxury. Just FYI: a "detoxification" bath requires using half a cup of epsom salt per 50 pounds of body weight in very hot water, and soaking for a bare minimum of 40 minutes with as much of the body submerged as possible. (So a 150 pound person would use one and a half cups of epsom salt per bath). In addition to helping detox from mold and environmental illness/poisoning, epsom salt baths are excellent for the skin by drawing out impurities, keeping the pores clear, and balancing the skin's PH. Soaking in an epsom salt bath for 30+ minutes draws lactic acid out of tired, sore muscles, relieving pain. Epsom salt baths are also helpful for easing constipation by VERY GENTLY stimulating digestion. The gradual absorption of magnesium, which takes the body about 40 minutes, is deeply relaxing, leading to deeper, more sound sleep. (These are all things I learned from functional/integrative medicine doctors, BTW.) I've been using this high quality epsom salt for several years now and am always pleased. I shower first and then, due to my special needs, I use two cups of epsom salt in water as hot as I can tolerate and soak for at least 60-90 minutes. I also add several drops of pure essential oil (usually lavender and a detoxifying blend). These baths are very therapeutic and helpful. But they're also so deeply relaxing that I feel like I'm luxuriating in a world class spa. (...a "silver lining" around the cloud of chronic illness.) ;) Sky Organics epsom salt is a great quality product delivered promptly and consistently, making me a healthier, happy customer. Two thumbs up!

Excellent, as advertised!

I bought this for internal use because it was advertised as 100% pure, organic, and pharmaceutical grade. All of this may be true, but I found that the regular drug store brand was easier to ingest, due to the odor of this product. It is a pleasant odor, and would be great for a bath or foot soak. However, it was a little perfumey, which made it harder to swallow. Note: nowhere on the package does it say that you should ingest this product. I made the decision based on the factors mentioned above.
