honestly... i didn't think this thing would work, but for the price... sure I would try it.I should have ordered a few more. This thing is AWESOME. I love it. Skip every other space and you have lovely slices. (I really hate cutting onions, btw. I hate the taste and the smell on my hands). I don't get as much smell on my hands, it's easier to cut and its easy to clean (pop it into the dishwasher and done).I will say that you will need to either take a small slice at the bottom of the onion (where the onion will rest on the cutting board) or cut the onion in half, as onions are round shape and roll... and this device will not prevent that from happening... so the onion can slip.I have used this on potatoes too. It rocks. Will need to try it on other veggies. May get another one.

So simple and so useful. We use a lot of chopped and minced onion so I am chopping every other day. This is the second thing I grab after the knife to attack the onion. I am finished in minutes without slicing skin or fingernails. And the price is just right! It took almost a month to get, but it was worth the wait. I have also used it to hold eggs and meat as I sliced. I wish I had invented it!.

This is a great little tool for onion slicing. I make a lot of French onion soup and when I get close to the end of the onion I am always worried I will slice my fingers...this helps hold the onion and provides you with evenly sliced pieces. The tool even came with a shield for storage when not in use. Well worth the money.

Yea. It was melted. All the plastic handle was melted and weird looking. I got it for super cheap and the company gave me a refund. It's actually a pretty nifty product and works decent even while melted. I don't feel like anyone NEEDS this, but for a few dollars max, it's pretty good addition to the kitchen products.

I used this tool today for the first time to help me dice onions for a salad. What a great little tool. I have an involuntary tremor and, lately, I worry about slicing my fingers because, when the tremor is at its worse, I cannot control the knife. Today was one of those days. Using the tool, I was able to slice the onion to exactly the thickness I needed. Then, I was able to dice the slices easily - the tool helped me keep the sliced onion stable. I am so happy I bought this little Wonder Tool.

Great that every-other-tine is not so fat as to waste tomatoes (for example) and every tine is perfect to cut onion. A bit wobbly when putting in: but not surprising as the tines need to be long enough to go thru a large tomato, as well as thin enough. Just go easy. It is great and one of the most surprisingly-useful kitchen gadgets we bought. Washes well in dishwasher; tho we usually use the sink

I was a bit skeptical with my purchase, I thought this to be a gimmick but I was wrong.This Item is very well made its sturdy and doesn't bend or flex. It pieaeces eaisly and provides a very sturdy and firm grip makeing cutting or chopping items easily and safely.For the price i paid for it i didn't think it to do well under pressure force but i was suprised to see how well it stood up to it the test it didn't flex bulk or bent under pressure and force.

It's not as wide as I'd like and it's somewhat flimsy but it may have to be, since fatter tines might not pierce effectively. For the tiny spend it's worth having around although you couldn't stab it through that many things. I mostly just use it for consistent cut widths on onions and the ease of holding them without cutting at my fingers!

This little gadget is going to work well for me as I am clumsy when cutting onions with a knife.
