The item for sale here is a pot of black thermochromic paint available in 30ml or 60ml sizes.The paint changes colour depending on the temperature.

Ideal for making your own Rorschach style masks (mask not included, this is just the special paint).

This is a non-toxic water-based formula that changes colour at 30c from opaque black to translucent.

In temperatures below 30c the colour is black and items (patterns, pictures or other colours) are hidden underneath. However, above 30c it turns almost clear (translucent) in seconds so anything beneath can be seen.

This temperature change can be caused with a person's breath, so when used on a Rorschach mask the black patterns appear to move and change as in the Watchmen film.

The temperature change can also be achieved by holding it in their hand, put in a pocket, covered by a hot liquid or even in a hot car on a sunny day.

Below 30c you can see the colour black, above 30c you cannot - it's like magic and is created using a chemical/physical thermochromic effect. Once cool it goes back to its original colour in seconds (over and over again).

This Zuperpaint Pro is acrylic polymer water based paint and can be removed with simple soap and warm water until dried. Can be over painted with acrylic car lacquer (but not nail varnish).

Quick drying, permanent, flexible and water resistant when dry. It can be painted on, but not limited to:

canvas,
cloth,
cardboard,
paper,
wood, and
other non-oily porous surfaces.

Works best if painted as a thin layer as it will change temperature and therefore colour quicker.

Please Note: Black paint. This has a very dark grey colour rather than a jet black. A true jet black is not available.
