Excellent informative book for any novice or already happy chicken keeper.Bright attractive layout with lots of pictures and chicken sketches.Easy to read either as a whole book or to dip into for your particular query.Sound sensible advice and the children loved the jokes!We have a feeling our poultry enterprise will now increase.. it's proving to be addictive.

Chickens are due to arrive in two weeks, and this book has been invaluable - it's extremely well written, no guff, very funny with some lovely tales of chook antics. Extremely practical, particularly the chapters on hen houses and maintaining the health of your chickens. Loved it.

This is a lovely book. The pic doesn't do it justice. Lovely pictures and design and delightful narrative that tells you what you need to know but in a charming way.

Such a fun family friendly book. It has made us more excited and more prepared for getting our first chickens. So down to earth and practical and fun too. Love the kids jokes.

Fab book, came highly recommended by all my friends with hens, wouldn't be without it, brilliantly written and great for kids to learn about their flock too.
