Well made, smart and value for money.
It is a pleasure spending money on something that is well made, does what it is supposed to and looks good doing it.This is my new favorite suitcase that gives me the option of traveling with wine or not. Why wouldn't I travel with wine??? The point is I like it a lot and and feel I got a lot of value for my money. The only thing I would improve is a way to keep the straps more tidy when it's time to open it. I would gladly buy an accessory of some type to keep the straps neat when the suitcase is opened. To be clear, I am that person that does not understand why my favorite designers have not developed a belt that does not have to be removed while clearing security at airports so let's add this to the universe suggestion box and keep waiting.

A Fantastic Investment for Any Wine Lover & Collector. Worth the Cost!!!
Amazing piece and something any serious collector or wine enthusiast should add to their luggage wardrobe. Full transparency before I continue. About a decade ago, I had the fortunate luck of meeting the founders at a wine event when they were just getting started and looking for funding. Back then I knew they had a winner. At the time I wanted it but didn't really have the need. That said, now i have the need. They put A LOT of thought into the design.I purchased this for a trip to Spain which I just returned from a few days ago. I wanted to purchase and bring back wines that were more exclusive and not available in the US. The mission was successful. The suitcase was even able to handle odd shaped bottles, as I brought back some Cava and all the bottles held up without issues. The suitcase arrives with foam cutouts 6 & 6 on each side as well as extra pads. The inside also includes straps to secure each side as well as external straps. No issues with TSA, not a scratch on the bag and not a single bottle broke or was damaged. My only suggestion is metal instead of plastic closures for the outside straps. Aside from that - it's a Fantastic Investment - No Regrets

Perfect for traveling
Wonderful. Elegant, comfortable. Perfect for wines. Just be careful some wines are heavy and you can end up with more pound that allowed by airlines. Other than that is perfect

Generally a great wine bottle suitcase
This is a great wine, travel suitcase. I have only used it six times and times it worked out perfect but it got absolutely hammered on a last flight. Two of the corners are badly cracked and two of the base blocks were completely ripped off and also the bottom molded handle on the bottom side of the case.Unfortunately, the warranty does not include airline travel, and I was able to claim from my travel insurance, but it was only 40% of the cost of replacing the bag. I'm going to try and fiberglass repair the suitcase but it's not gonna be the same. I almost want to fully reinforce every corner.Maybe it was just bad luck, but crazy that the baggage handlers ruined a perfectly good bag so easily.

Solid purchase
Brought 10 bottles back from overseas with no issue whatsoever. Held up great. I didn’t realize the individual wine paddings are interchangeable/upgradable which is a nice plus.

Poor Customer Service from Manufacturer - poor quality suitcase
This rating is for the customer service the company provides after purchase. The suitcase has great internal forms for wine bottles and certainly met our needs. However, after the first use, upon claiming at baggage, we noticed one of the feet was broken off the side of the suitcase. The airline refused to pay for repair or replacement so we reached out to see if we could pay for a replacement part directly from the company. We contacted the company, initially online, via their customer service contact form then, after receiving no response for two days, with a phone call to the number on their website. Their customer service number only allows for a message to be left. That has been ignored as well. Really disappointing after spending so much on a specialty suitcase.EDIT: After WEEKS of back and forth with customer service (misnomer) we still have the wrong parts to repair our suitcase that broke after the first use. Exterior is not a structurally sound built suitcase.

Great functionality and great company
Purchased primarily for trips back and forth from California wine regions to Chicago. For my needs, this suitcase has worked out great. I primarily buy 750ml bottles in various red bottle formats. I have been just fine with the standard inserts sent. It would possibly be a challenge with a full case of Syrah-style bottles, but I have done trips easily with 6 mixed in with cab-style.I am adding this review 3 years after purchase because on my last trip, a combination of my forgetfulness in securing the zipper pulls and the airline’s rough handling of the bags resulted in s couple of the external parts suffering some damage. Wine was fine, mercifully. I submitted a request for replacement parts to FlyWithWine, admitting my mistake and the resulting damage. They understood the exact issue, quickly processed a warranty claim, and very promptly sent replacement parts. What really impressed me the most was that the parts were sent with the least amount of packaging necessary, and there were very clear instructions provided with a couple of simple tips on how to make it easy, and I had both problems fixed in under 5 minutes. Great customer service, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness that made the fix so easy.
