I am really pleased with this dehydrator I've never used a dehydrator before so I am surprised at how well it dries up different foods especially fruit.This will be great to make snacks for the children, the machine is made from high quality materials it is easy to use, and does the job very efficiently so far I have done apple slices and sweet potatoes, and they all came out perfectly.The machine has got plenty of time and temperature settings to play with and find just the right setting for what you want to do each fruit acts differently.Considering the budget price, I thought the product was well made and quite robust the machine is quiet in operation, about the same as a small fan heater, which is basically what it is.This dehydrates effectively and evenly i could not ask for more so far I am very pleased with my purchase and it will get plenty of use and I would definitely recommend it.

I love snacking on dried fruits and vegetables, but they can be pricey. I tried oven drying method to dehydrate some fruits before, but I often forget to switch the oven off and ended up with super dry fruits that were too hard to eat. So i thought I should try one of the commercially made dehydrators. There are so many to choose from, but I thought I’d try this one.Since its arrival, I have to admit I get a little bit obsessed with it - I have used it every single day. I’ve dried fruits such as mango, banana to vegs and some herbs such as parsley and curry leaves. I find this dehydrator is simple and straightforward to use. It’s not heavy or bulky. It doesn’t take a lot of space onmy countertops. It’s not loud, just like the sound of a table fan on low setting. I like how the temperatures are controlled using the buttons and not knobs. Even though, the temperatures and time do not accurately follow the recipes given, but it’s not a problem. I managed to do it a few times on trial and error setting and it was ok. I have to admit though that the plastic trays are a little bit fragile. They must be handled with care, and obviously you dont want to drop them on hard floor.A few tips for newbies who have never used a dehydrator before. First, dont cut your fruits too thin. They will shrink a lot during dehydration process and will end up too thin and will stick onto the tray. If you want to take it to the next level, you can either use parchment papers or mesh screens to prevent from sticking. But I discourage using aluminium foil or plastic wrap as they prevent air flow and the fruits/vegs will need a lot more time to dry ( trust me -speak from experience here).What else can I say, I love this dehydrator. It’s great fun experimenting dehydrating different fruits and vegs with this little machine. I’m thoroughly pleased with my purchase. Would recommend.

Unpacking the unit, I found it to be a bit smaller than what I had anticipated. However, the trays seem to be a bit deeper and they definitely hold a substantial amount of product for dehydration. The controls for this unit are great, and much better than what I've been used to. Dials are great and there's not much to break! Bottom line is that this is a great dryer. Overall though, a sound purchase and one that will do the job you want it for.

Small and efficient. I did not had so much time but i did a quick trial with some blood orange, lemon, parsnip and carrots. I had only 2 hours to try the dehydrator and i can say it's amazing the vegetables are almost dried (cut in small pieces for my soup veggie mix) and some of the oranges (as some are cut to thick). The machine itself it's lightweight and small perfect for my kitchen as i do not have so much space. For the controls I did not even looked in the manual as turning it on and setting the time and temperature it's very easy.

It arrived in a plain box with no manufacturer’s details. It had an instruction manual but it is so badly written that some sentences are incomprehensible (or very funny!), obviously badly translated into English. I was concerned that this product might not be genuine but a replica .The main reason I bought this particular item was because the description said that it was BPA-free. The instruction manual mentioned nothing about this.Furthermore, the Warranty is not valid in the UK- it is for a product called for Meykry not Meykey as the product is labelled. The title in section VIII is, “Limited One-year Warranty” whilst the sentence underneath says the warranty is for 2 years.I contacted the supplier for confirmation that the product is genuine and to provide me with proper documentation and the recipe book they had promised. They responded by asking me to contact Amazon as my order was fulfilled by them. I have returned the item and Amazon has refunded the money.

I was very excited about this product to buy but I received damage and I just start pressing to return very disappointed

The first time I used this product it was excellent. However, the second time I used it i found that the heating element had failed so the fan was just circulating air at room temperature and it was not dehydrating the fruit in the trays. Ended up using the fruit in a fruit salad rather than enjoying dried fruit snacks. Item returned.

When arrived looked very solid and well build machine. Fan and temp control stopped working after 6h use, probably just a faulty unit which can happen to any electronic device!
