I bought this lamp to illuminate a niche in which artwork is displayed, but it definitely could be used to light a bigger area. The lamp is easy to setup and install, it can be positioned in almost any space because it comes with an optional magnetic mounting system for places where you can't (or choose not to) drive screws or nails. There are lots of operational options -- colors, brightnesses, and special lighting effects. Overall, it meets my needs exactly and I am pleased with the operation.

The main reason I bought this light is because it's battery operated and it has a modern appearance. When I received the BIGLIGHT Wireless Wall Sconce and opened the box, I was surprised to see on the remote that the light changes colors. I gave the remote to my 4 year old son to show how it works. And he was thrilled to see the changing colorful lights. It was an educational and exciting experience for him to see something new - pushing the buttons to change the colors, and seeing the special effects of a color flashing; a strobe of rainbow lights; and a colorful light fading. And it makes me feel like a good mother to purchase something like this and nail it on the wall. Hah!!!

These look great and give off nice light! The only downfall is you will go through a lot of batteries!!

LOVE THESE LIGHTS-- Here's why-- 2 reaons:A. SUPER EASY ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION:1. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included)2. Slide on the back of the battery compartment.3. Attach the pre-cut, super-sticky, double-sided, 3M tape to the 2 included metal pieces.4. Put the metal pieces to the 2 strong magnets, where they'll securely snap-on the back of the light.5. Peel the paper off the back of the two 3M tape (that's already on the 2 metal pieces)--leave metal pieces on magnets.6. Locate where you want to put them & press FIRMLY for a couple secondsBOOM! You're DONE! :)B. I bought 2 lights and ONE controller can (a) Control them BOTH at one time, or, (b) Control each light separately!Controls for: On/Off, Lots of different colors (see pic), brightness & intensity, FADE & STROBE too!!Quick, simple, look nice, no wires, no hassles, SUPER COOL!!

On paper, this was exactly what I was hoping for. In reality, it wasn't. Upon turning the switch on, the light was bright for approximately a minute before fading to a nightlight brightness. Different batteries did not improve the quality. As I wanted this for a bedside reading light, the output wasn't sufficient.

The media could not be loaded. This little light is so cool, i cant even believe it was so cheap! I needed something adhesive that i could put near my door for when i walk in since the light for my apartment is across the room. Did not expect to love this light so much. Its smaller than it looks in the pics but gives a decent amount of light! I LOVE the remote. I cant believe for $20 bucks and a few batteries you get colors, dimmers, good lighting and even a timer! I really love this. Had no problem with the adhesive on my wall, so far the magnets are fine. Def recommend this

Easy to install, very bright with fresh batteries but eats them like crazy!! Started off with regular disposable batteries went through 20 of them within a month of use. Bought rechargeable batteries, they last about 3 days for about 4 hours per day before I have to charge them again.In hindsight, I wouldn't buy this light knowing what I know now. I've spent more money on batteries in the past month it's ridiculous.Do yourself a favor and find something else worth your money.

Love the light! Lots of colors to choose from and two whites, different transitions, timer, Dimer, takes 3 AA batteries and they run out quick so do not leave on overnight like i did. Duracell i used.. MEDIUM install UNLESS you are really good at lining things up. :) Remote works well from 8ft away (my distance). Really changes the room ambiance I bought this for the bathroom and we put it close to the floor by the normal light switch. Works perfectly 👌. Arrived quickly with minimal packaging. Great light!

Great little light handy remote for colour change great in a child's room or spare room only thing batteries don't last as long and I buy good ones but it depends how long you have it on for I suppose saves on wiring.
