Classic Laguiole Pattern
This is a good looking Chinese made Laguiole copy. The blade is centered correctly, and the fit and finish are very good, no issues to speak of. The mirror polished blade has a decent double edged grind (moderately sharp), and the olive wood scales are beautiful. It came with a handsome presentation box, and the artwork on the spine is nice. The pin holding the corkscrew was sticking out about 2mm, so I knocked it back in without any further issue. I spent $15 dollars on this knife, and I am very pleased with what I received. I have a real "French" Laguiole knife, but the back spine snapped after opening it a few times; turned out to be an expensive, good looking, piece of rubbish; steel was also so so. I'm hoping for a better run with this Chinese knife. I'll re-post later after I get a chance to try out the blade and the corkscrew elements on this knife. At this point, this knife is worth the $15 I spent just as a good looking desk ornament, but I'm thinking that it should be fine at cutting fruit and opening boxes. This style of knife is not light, and there is no belt clip, so you would probably want to get a small belt sheath if you wanted to use it for an EDC knife; might be a bit too much weight to throw in your pocket.

All Men should carry a true pocket knife--this one is mine
This is a NON LOCKING pocket knife, which means you have to take a little more care in using it than a locking folder--but will probably not cause any concern with law enforcement in almost any jurisdiction because it's much less of a practical weapon than it is a tool, pure and simple. It came semi-sharp and perhaps because of the bevels, my Smith sharpener didn't do a very good job on it, No worries, I broke out my Harbor Freight 4-grade diamond hone, swiped it a few times and it's forearm-shaving sharp now. This is an elegant pocket knife. It feels nice in the hand. While perhaps not up to the original French grade Laguiole, the detailed fit and engravings please me..Contrary to one 1-star reviewer, if millions of Boy Scouts can use non-locking pocket knives safely and efficiently, so can you.

Great Value!
I collect and own dozens of knives. This knife is an outstanding value for the price! It is very well made. Comes in a great gift box. Not sure how practical the corkscrew is. Its kInd of short and and the coils are tight and closely spaced. Still a nice knife and would be a great gift!

Just ok
This knife was just ok. The corkscrew is really short, making it difficult to use. The overall build quality was cheap feeling. For the price, it worked.

Nice inexpensive reproduction
This is pretty nice for a cheap reproduction and makes a nice every day carry. There are a few things that could be improved, but for $12 I can't complain.
