We got the style that's black with the orange basketball on the backboard. It does take a while to put it together, but I took off no stars for that. Overall, this is a very nice hoop. The hoop doesn't bend down, so don't try to dunk. But it seems very sturdy otherwise. My boys (8 & 10) love it. They play every day, and they've had it for about a month. It's obviously not your huge regulation size backboard, and there are much more elaborate models available. But for the price, this is an amazing purchase. Also, I got it new on sale for a birthday present, but you can definitely save some money with a used one. Also, we lost a wheel somehow, and the company shipped us a new one for no charge, right away. I'm very impressed. Another cool feature is that there is a round indentation on the base, so you can put the ball there when you're not using it. It has quite a range for adjustable height (from regulation to where my 10 year old can touch the rim when he jumps.Update: We've had it for over 3 months now. The boys love it. The only thing I want to mention is that if you don't fill up the base pretty full, it will get knocked over in a storm. That happened to us when we had it ½ full. It has not been a problem since we filled it up. Also, there is no evidence that it fell at all. It didn't get a scratch on it, so it's a very durable product.

I tend to read reviews before I purchase (like whomever is reading this one)...my son is 6 and the little tikes b ball hoop isn't cutting it anymore. So, I started looking at adjustable height hoops, this one adjusts from 7 feet to 10 feet by 6 inch increments. This one had lots of reviews and the negative ones seemed to focus around "putting it together" (ease of or difficulty of). I'm pretty handy and mechanical and can usually look at the photo OR watch a video and BAM...I can get it done. I would think that anyone REASONABLY intelligent could complete the setup of this product.This one I had to follow the paper directions...but, outside of them having one piece reversed in the directions...they were spot on. The piece that was reversed, I simply studied the picture on the box and figured it out. It took me around 30-45min (I think) to complete setup.Once it's up and the base filled with water...it's easy to move on it's wheels. That being said, I don't think my 80yr old mom could do it, but a 50yr old guy like me...easy to move. Its sturdy, built well and been out in the weather and after a few months is holding up just great.Definitely WOULD RECOMMEND this Basketball Goal for purchase! Hope I helped!

This works really well until they're really bad wind storm and then it blew it over and broke the backboard. Even weighted down it wasn't enough. Stupid desert wind...

I got this basketball system for my fiancé for his Father's Day present and he loves it.I put it together myself and it took me about an hour. The only issue I had while putting it together was with one of the screws on the backboard. I may have tightened the bolts too much and since the backboard is made of a hard plastic the screw actually went completely through it. I adjusted the bolts and got it to stay and so far we've had no issues.One other thing is, I don't think the system is that easy to move. I filled the base with just water no sand and once the water was in it and it was standing up, I could not, for the life of me, pull this unit down to roll it into our driveway. Granted, I only weigh 115 pounds and I'm 5 foot three, so I'm sure a man would probably be able to move this unit the proper way but I could not. At the same time, this made me feel little bit better about not using sand in the base, as I don't think that this unit would ever blow down during a windstorm or anything like that!!

The media could not be loaded. Very nice product. With the price i paid its a good product.Goods:# simple design, looks nice, assembly instructions are very clear though it will take time.# remember this isnt the board and net u see in basket courts, this is simple for kids playing in the front or backyardBadNothing much but# the board is made of plastic material so when u shoot it wont rebound as expected. So any shot u throw at the center box of the board it drops down into the net# the assemble is a bit challenging when u start adding the board and net ring, either ask someone to help or us a chair support to put it on the top of it and then do it yourself.

Great quality. Set up was a little difficult, but with 2 people it worked out. It's really nice. Definitely recommend for others to buy it

We bought this as a family Christmas gift last year and it is still standing! We opted to fill the base with water because it's much easier to empty than sand. Just make sure you don't fill it too much in the colder months or it will freeze and crack the base open. Our boys love playing basketball so this basketball goal has given them lots of hours of fun play time. They especially love making trick shot videos! I like that it is adjustable because my boys are growing like weeds. They are both almost as tall as I am now and I know by this coming Christmas, they'll have passed me up! And I'm not a short lady! The hoop has endured my boys and their friends slam dunking and hanging from the rim. The pole is still nice and straight. Even the net is still attached! That is surprising in itself since I've seen so many of these portable goals that have lost theirs. We have moved the goal several times and it is fairly easy. It takes 2 people, when the base is full, to transport it to another part of the yard. It is definitely a neighborhood hangout for the kids around us. I would say we are getting our money's worth from this awesome basketball goal! My only regret is I wish we had bought it much sooner!
