Cafe Escapes Cafe Mocha Keurig Single-Serve K-Cup Pods, 72 Count

Cafe Escapes are the best mocha I found. I tried others. I love intense chocolate & coffee taste. I don't put these in my Keurig. Thick flavored coffees glob it up & I have to use a paperclip and wash-outs to clear the thing. Each morning, I heat a small cup of water, say 6 ounces, in the micro. Slice the top off a Cafe Escape Mocha then add a teaspoon of chocolate powder and a teaspoon of instant decaf. As I said, I like intense. No, I cannot make this mix on my own & save money. I tried. Businesses have magic flavor powders we muggles do not possess. I love my Keurig for coffees such as chocolate cherry flavor which does not gag my machine. Beware K Cups with coconut & thick stuff. Yes, Cafe Escapes Mocha is worth the extra effort. A good part of my morning wake-up.

If you like a good quality hot chocolate or good quality coffee or good quality mocha- this is NOT for you. If you like sugary drinks for the sake of tasting the sweetness then maybe buy it. I thought I would like this seeing that many reviewers compared it to hot chocolate but this tasted far different from what I thought. I like the Swiss Miss Hot Coco or the Starbucks Hot chocolate K-cups, but this was NOT hot chocolate. I can't place what it tastes like but it makes me curious how so many people liked it and why I just didn't. Had to throw away the rest since I wouldn't drink it. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend it. Just get hot chocolate if you're in that mood.

I love the flavor and have it every morning-its 60 cal a cup and easy with my K-machine. If I have any leftover in my cup, not even time to drink, I put ice in it and have an iced coffee better and cheaper than Starbucks! Buying from Amazon gives me a bigger box than at the grocery stores so I don't have to go out to the grocery as often and I'm the only one in the family that drinks it! It makes me extremely happy to know I can have it delivered and not have to go out to purchase it due to the pandemic! The stores don't always have it on their shelves and then I have to ask for it or go to another store to get it!

Updated review - I originally gave these 1 star because the pods kept causing an error, but I realized that you have to select the "hot chocolate / other" option when brewing and then they work just fine!I like the flavor of these but they almost always cause an error with the Keurig machine, so I'm either spilling the product as I try to take the pod back out or I'm wasting an entire pod and then trying again. There's something wrong with the machine's ability to puncture these pods on their underside. It's sad because I ordered 6 boxes!

I bought a 6-pack of 12-count boxes of these Café Mocha pods. I love the flavor, especially when I mix a 10 ounce brew of this with a 10 ounce brew of Vanilla Biscotti! UNFORTUNATELY, 4 out of the 5 times I brew this Café Mocha, it throws a “ needle error” code on my Keurig machine (the machine is only 7 months old). I followed Keurig manufacturer’s directions on cleaning the needle, but it still throws that code every 4/5 times I brew ONLY these Café Escapes Café Mocha pods...it never does using any other pods. It’s a real hassle having to lift the handle almost every morning and start again on that same pod. Has anyone else had this issue?

I bought this in advance of the cold weather seasons as there was a sale going on Amazon for it. Now past the return point I gave it a try. The flavor is so pathetically weak that you need two pods to make one cup of decent tasting drink (1st pod through the brewer, the 2nd pod I need to cut open the top and pour in the powder to the drink just brewed. Powder at least fully dissolves). The alternative is to brew one pod, and then add in your own additional chocolate and coffee flavored syrup (which we happen to have to make hot chocolate and coffee milk drinks). But what's the point ???? Just as well to put milk in a mug, add the 2 syrups and place your mug in the mircowave for 45 sec. Tastes a whole lot richer and is far less expensive.Waste of $$$. I would give it a 2.3... just slightly better than a 2 rating. Too bad I waited past the 30 day return point to give this garbage a try.

I just finished writing a review for Timothy's moca k-cups. I had bought some because of the price. It barely had a chocolate flavor, I might have ordered it again because it was 'better than nothing'.However, about a week after I bought it, they jacked the price up $15.00! Which put it about the price of these. So I decided to try these. Oh man am I glad I did! These have got to the the closest to a real Dutch Bro's mocha. I love them!I only wish they were cheaper, or had specials on them.

What I've done with this mocha k-cup is try to emulate Starbucks Cafe Mocha. I take one plain coffee k-cup (I use Barista Prima Italian Roast) and then brew the mocha into the same large cup. I top it with half 'n half and then some whipped cream. The results are almost as good as Starbucks. :)

While this does taste very good and I will probably buy again, there was more of a hot chocolate taste. The coffee flavor was missing in my opinion. It was more to my liking when I used one of the Café Mocha with a regular coffee K-cup. Good

These are very delicious Mocha k-cups. You can't taste coffee at all and these are full of flavor. Great buy!

Great tasting product, arrived faster then expected!

The combination of coffee and chocolate is a wonderul taste boost. This is one of my husband's favourites. A welcome treat after a hard workout, or just a nice finish to a good meal, this combimation gets full marks.

Excellent. The only reason why I have a Keurig machine.
