Great value for money
I've only recently started playing Snooker properly and was using whatever the club had to offer from behind the bar. I'd normally lose about 70% of my games, with a highest score ever of 47.I took this cue out for it's maiden voyage the other Friday and was very impressed. It has a nice weight to it and although it has no effect on play, it looks gorgeous too. I think the results speak for themselves, I won 75% of my games and got a new highest score of 80.That being said, the biggest advantage will be the consistency I will be able to achieve from always using the same cue. Be it a better cue, or a placebo effect from me thinking I have a nice cue, it's definitely improved my game regardless. The extra butt extension is a very nice tough and I found the tip to be of pretty good quality. A friend of mine bought a slightly cheaper cue and instantly had to replace the tip.I'd recommend this to anyone looking to get the most out of their Snooker playing.Only knocked down 1 star as I believe the cue has a slight curve to it. It shouldn't really affect play much, but I'd expect higher quality controls before it left the supplier.

Nice cue, not such a nice unboxing experience
Now, let me start off by saying that I am at best, a casual pool player, and I bought this cue for the use of playing a game or two of pool a day. I'll do my best to depict my experience below. The Bad:As I arrive to pick up my package, looking for a long thin box, I notice this 5' by 2' giant with my name on it, thinking it might some sort of a TV. I was wrong, it was the cue. Inside this monstrous box, is the leather case with the cue packed inside and some random piece of paper which did not fill up even 5% of the box. Would not be surprised if they just ran out considering the massive void they have to fill. Pretty sure at the very least, 50 of these cues could be packed inside it, but enough about the excess cardboard. I open up the leather case, out comes the cue, with what looked like at least 10 degree bend. My co-worker sitting around 15 feet away instantly pointed out that I could probably curve my shots like in the movie "Wanted" with this cue. In my opinion, pretty ridiculous for a new product which I am rather sure should be straight, arrive bent (Still devastated i didn't think of taking some pictures before I started the handiwork). Luckily, after around 30 minutes of effort straightening the ole' stick out, it got to a point where it was acceptable to be used as a cue, so don't worry if its bent, straighten it out yourself ! ...The Good:It is a smooth cue, the weight is lovely and it feels like you can control the power really well. It really is the nicest cue I have used up to date. The pool table I am using it on has smaller than your usual pool balls, so I presume it is good to be used for both pool and snooker alike.Overall:Since this is the only cue I own, I can't say whether it is really worth the money, yet if you can afford it and want some quality, it is a lovely cue to use (once it is straight). Also I would suggest getting a hard case for the cue if you're planning of carrying it anywhere, as the leather one will definitely leave you not only hassled, but disappointed.

Lovely Cue - Recommended
Really pleased with my new cue. It feels a really nice weight, super smooth finish, perfectly straight and the brass fittings screw together really well. Be aware though that the tip does need to be domed to your preference. The tip on mine was unfinished.

Adequate as a guest/occasional cue.
Arrived safe and very well packed.Bought as a spare cue for guests. There's a small amount of warp in the cue, enough to notice it.The wood/grain/colour at the joint looks very mismatched, as if it's two parts from two different cues.Decent tip and great finish, very smooth playing cue despite its other issues.I don't think I'll be buying another one.

Decent.
This is a very good cue that beats the bent club cues. I have got on well with the cue and been able to hit a few breaks with it too. I have dropped a star because near the bottom of the cue there is a bit of rough wood. Nothing a bit of wet n dry couldn’t sort. Overall excellent value for money.

Amazing value for the money
I wasn't expecting too much for the money but thought I would give it a go after the positive reviews. I am seriously impressed with the quality of this cue!! It feels like a 200 pound cue. Smooth as a baby's bum which you don't usually get on cheap cues, they are usually varnished and sticky. Absolutely dead straight too. People cannot believe how little i paid for it. Great great value for money.
