We recently purchased a cheap projector to use for an outdoor Halloween display, and to test it in our living room to see if we may want to spend some cash for a nicer projector. I had built a translucent screen to use for our display, so we simply covered it with a sheet to test it inside the house. The picture was O.K., but nothing spectacular, however it was good enough to make us want to try a projector screen to try and clear the picture up a tiny bit. We measured and decided we needed a 100 inch diagonal screen, 16:9 format. Many of the economical choices of screens that we looked at may have measure 100 diagonally, but the reviews stated that the screen was actually a square instead of the 16:9 rectangle, so you lose a lot of the viewing area width. With this screen, it is actually a 16:9 viewable area. I pulled it down a little farther in the picture because I like the viewing area a little lower in my living room, but the screen locks in multiple positions so you can lock it in place at many different lengths. The screen arrived at my post office promptly in time for Prime 2 day delivery, and although I ended up having to go pick it up myself, this was entirely on the post office. The unit was decently packed with only 5 or 6 styrofoam rings for protection, but they did the job as there were zero scratches or dents. I measured and mounted to my ceiling and was a little surprised at how well it blends in with the white ceiling. It was not nearly as distracting as I expected it to be. The profile is fairly small when closed. The case looks to be well made and the screen has the black backing as well. The mechanism locks at various stages and I had no issues with it holding the length at which I set it. There are a few very faint wrinkles/ripples which were completely invisible when the projector was on. There is very little curling on the edges, not near enough to even affect viewability, as you can see in the profile picture. When the screen closes, it retracts slowly, nothing like the old school projector screens that would snap closed when pulled. The best part about this screen was the absolutely amazing picture that was produced with our cheap projector. The picture is so much better than using a sheet, it is like the difference between surround sound and an AM radio. The picture is crisp, clear and bright, its just incredible. It looks so good that I do not believe we will even need to get a better projector. I can not recommend this screen enough.

When we repainted our living room, we had to take down our tv. We used one of the walls with a projector we had in the closet. When it came time to put things back up, we decided to just keep using the projector since it’s much bigger than a tv anyway. We got this screen and it has been amazing! The screen retracts slowly, so we don’t have to worry about it breaking, dust doesn’t cling to it like every other surface in our house, and the picture is clear! We love it!!

Great value for the price. Came just slightly twisted like shown in another review but that was totally fine after installation. I just put a chime screws in the wall and hung the screen myself with my wife. It has a great retraction rate, it slows itself down at the end so it doesn't hurt itself.

The media could not be loaded. This screen is definitely better than our old screen with legs. It has a nice thick blacked out backing and clean looking white screen which really helps grab the vibrantness of the projector giving it a cleaner screen view. The size is great it's actually like 85 inches. The pull down is a little harder in the sense that is very strong, like when you pull it down you really have to put a little force into it rather than a easy smooth glide. It does pull down smoothly but rather strong and firmly, I guess so it stays in place easier and doesn't snap up so fast, rather it rolls back up on it's own slowly. But it's not a struggle to bring it down, it opens and closes rather easy and slowly, just a little extra force is required. It came with the mounting screws and anchors to hang it to the wall but no chain hardware if you wanted to just hang it that way so we improvised by using curtain rod hardware and it worked perfectly. Make sure you measure and use a stud finder a the screen is a little heavy but it feels heavy duty. That's the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars as it's a little harder to open, no chain or hooks to use the triangle loops to hang it, and it's 85" not 100". Other than that it's a great buy for the money the quality it brings out in the projectors is phenomenal. I would still recommend it.

This screen is the perfect size for my outdoor movie theatre. The entire thing is extremely well made and the clarity is crisp and bright. The base is heavy enough to not blow around too much and I live close to the water so it's pretty windy. The material is thick enough so it doesn't wrinkle like other screens I have bought. And it was a major plus that it didn't have a strong odor like similar screens. It functions exactly as it should. Rolling in or out is pretty easy.I have been raving about my movie nights in my backyard. Definitely get the TMY movie projector with it.Thank me later

This screen is exactly what I needed. The screen quality is great, and I love how easy it is to use. I just put it as low as I want and it stays every time. To roll back up just flick down a tiny bit, let go, and it rolls up slowly and gently. Perfect!
