Bentousa Decorative Hard Boiled Egg Yolk Mold 4 Shapes

Instructions are in Japanese, but the pictures are useful and Google translate worked it out for me anyway. Cook time of whites being 12 min was right on, but the yolks aren't fully set at 8 but were at 10. We mix spices and cheese with the yolks to make a little omelet in the middle of the whites and now my kids are excited about eggs. They work really well in their lunch boxes and wow everyone.

I do like this product but it takes a little experimentation to get it just right. Also, the egg yokes can become a little rubbery in texture. But the shapes make a nice accent to a food presentation. I am working on a deviled egg recipe for this but it requires using twice the number of eggs. I must make the shaped eggs as directed and then discard the shaped yolks. Then use the yolks from traditionally cooked hard boiled eggs to make the deviled egg filling to fill the shaped whites. It makes 12 shaped, bite-sized deviled eggs. A little more work, but it really makes a fun and tasty presentation.

It is cumbersome to use, after a few eggs try, it works fairly well. You have to find the amount of time that works for you, the recommended times did not cook the rggs completely for me.

Cute little things, but too much work! And the instructions came in Chinese, thank God for the pictures!

Wouldn't recommend this product. The directions aren’t even in English. At least provide some accurate directions for use. Returned.

Loved using this to make decorated eggs for family and gatherings with friends.Fairly easy to use and works well.

AMAZING PRODUCTmy kids and their friends (& parents) were THRILLED by their eggs. A bit time consuming and hard to clean but simple enough to make when you get the instructions from youtube (they only come in Japanese in the box!) and worth the effort.
