Overall - High quality bed with tons of storage. Assembly requires two people.Assembly - Should be straightforward for two people, but we had an alignment problem halfway through that required taking it apart and identifying the issue. Unfortunately, we had a bent side plank (shown in pictures) so when putting it back together we had to apply extra pressure to put it in. This issue, along with putting the frame onto the hydraulics, would make it very difficult for one person to put the bed together. Most of the bed would require one person to put it together, but putting the frame onto the hydraulics (takes 10-20 minutes) requires at least two in my opinion.Other notes - Before purchasing, I was a bit sceptical of some of the other reviews for the white wooden bed as some of them appeared damaged. Thankfully, my bed came completely undamaged and the only issue was that bent side piece of wood but we managed to bend it in. The bed looks fantastic!

Had a bit of a mishap with delivery but it was sorted quickly and the customer service was great.Bed was reasonably easy to build. Good amount of space underneath. Very sturdy and looks very stylish. Great value for money!

Sturdy bed amazingly given the quality of its parts. Shame that it is so badly damaged that, it would be believable if someone told me it had been owned by someone else for a year prior to my purchase.If you can get an undamaged one then great but once you've ripped open the boxes its impossible to return.I would fully recommend you look elsewhere. My experience with this item and issues around its damage are really annoying. Do not buy this bed....

Well after all sorts of issues arranging delivery Arrow XL, which I would suggest is the worst shipper ever delivered.The bed is very sturdy and as described. Couple of points the bed head is missing 4 caps to the screw heads, that seems like a major oversight and something I would not have expected, poor final design, I will follow up to obtain something to hide the screw heads, thats not what I expected.The bed is good to assemble, be sure to have at least two people to do so, we did it in less than three hours, you will need some additional room to assemble. It would be an advantage to have a power screwdriver/drill, we did and it was a godsend, without it, I would not even try, need to torque to get the screws and bolts tight.Overall exempting Arrow XL and their lame attempt to delay shipping for over a week, Amazon came through, but dont accept Arrow XL and their poor poor customer service. You have been warned

Best and easiest flat pack furniture I have assembled. All the parts were separately packaged and identified made assembly straight forward. Took about 2hours 30mins to build on my own , only tricky bit was attaching bed base to mechanism, would have been easy with 2nd person.

I like this bed very much, looks stylish and neat, great storage a lot of it, sturdy and strong. All in all a really good buy and amazing value.

I have not yet finished assembling it, and while I like the solid construction, I am sure it can be made simpler to assemble, or the company can provide assembly services.Assembly:- For one, attaching the front storage panel and the side pillars to the headboard, could very easily have come in as factory assembled, instead it is not, and it takes quite a while to get that done. If it were factory assembled it would still be the same to transport, so dont know why it is not assembled- The side rails assembly to the storage panels is simpler- The construction of the hydraulic is strange that it the hydraulic pump does not come collapsed, having that design would make it easier to assemble. Not sure if it has an impact on safety in terms of usage of the bed post assembly.- The assembly of the bed base is relatively ok, but once the base is assembled, you have to put it on the hydraulic frame, and this is not possible if you are assembling the bed alone. It is a beast. I am sure there is a simpler way if the product were designed differently. E.g. if the hyradulics were to collapse, then you could attach the bed base to the frame section by section onto a collapsed frame. Right now it is one huge and heavy bed base that needs to be lifted onto an inclined hydraulic frame. That is where my assembly has been stopped till I get some help.I would think Birlea would do well to offer assembly services- It would avoid the negative image on the product that the customer would develop due to the difficulty in assembly, since it could be done by experts from Birlea instead- They could charge for it- Equally importantly, the packaging could be reused, I have had to trash over 4 full large bags of Styrofoam, huge amounts of carboard boxing, all of which could be reused by Birlea, saving costs, and making a huge difference to the environment.Think about it Birlea
