DIAMOND SELECT TOYS Marvel Gallery: Avengers Infinity War Movie Doctor Strange PVC Diorama Figure, Blue

I've been collecting allot of Diamond Select Toys' MCU statues. Im a big fan of Doctor Strange so I was disappointed to see it wasn't getting great reviews. People seem to be upset that the circle is in his other hand and that his hair isn't as white on the sides as he appears in the picture. I ordered it so I could see for myself and in my opinion the circle looks better in the hand that it's in and his hair is more accurate to his portrayal in the movies. Overall the statue has great detail, size, and looks very close to Benedict Cumberbatch's likeness for the price. I would recommend this for any Doctor Strange fans.

Love it. Yeah it’s not the same as the original concept and it’s not 100% perfect with the hair, but still awesome at this price point for Strange.

Dont pay attention to the presentation picture on the website. Its usually a prototype shown on Diamond Select statues thats shown on the box art.Not a bad statue for the price. Getting a lower priced statue can be a crap shoot of quality on occasion but this is pretty good. Close to the level of detail in my Iron Studios Dr. Strange statue.Detail wise its quite nice. All the patches and patterns on the cloak of levitation is actually impressive. The clothing and belts are also nicely done. It looks pretty close to Benedict down to the wrinkles on his forehead. The Sheild of Seraphim on his hand is pretty detailed too. It wouldve been cool if Diamond Select maybe trued to put some reflective material on the shield but its not a big gripe. It would also have been another nice additional detail if they put some glowing green bands on right out stretched forearm, which wouldve made the pose make more sense.Speaking of the pose, its a but weird....strange you might say (lol or roll your eyes). He looks like hes force choking someone and again, some green ir orange bands on his forearm wouldve helped itThe paint is where is the quality drops but not much. Most of the paint is well done except for a couple slight smudges on the boot and hand wraps. Again not terrible considering how good the paint is on the rest of the statue, especially on the patterns on the cloak and the hair and the eye of agamotto, which im sure were a pain to paint. Again, its an affordable diamond select statue but for the price, the quality and detail is fantastic.
