I have never been a lover of honey but this stuff is fabulous. I ordered it to try when I bought some Scottish Oatmeal and it tastes different from any honey I've ever eaten. It doesn't have the heavy sweet taste of tradition store-bought honey but is lighter, sweet and you can taste the hint of the flowers, lime, and raspberry in it. It is wonderful and worth the money for me. I will continue to purchase this sweet treat. I will give a hint when purchasing. This is the second time I have ordered this. The first time I received it in an envelope with no padding and the item was broken. I received a refund from Amazon, of course, but was torn because I really wanted more honey, but didn't want a repeat of the same. So, I purchased two jars this time which came in individual boxes, in a small Amazon box, delivered by Amazon. Again, there was no packing at all in the box, but luckily both jars were fine. I'm not sure if Amazon is trying to give up plastic to save the planet by not using packing pillows but they could certainly do a better job by backing with popcorn or paper to secure items, especially glass jars. So, when in doubt--buy 2! Hope this helps because the honey is worth it!!Update 12/20--I have purchased this 2 times since and again, the best honey money can buy. But Amazon packing is terrible. Both arrived in envelopes with NO PACKAGING MATERIAL!! Come on Amazon, you can do better. Remarkably, they arrived unscathed; I have no idea how other than angelic intervention because this honey is heavenly.

I purchased this for a special Scots steak recipe. "Balmoral Steak from the Witchery near the Castle" in Edinburgh, and it was worth it. Highly recommended for special uses Arrived in fine shape.

Even though it's a bit pricey, a little of it goes a long way, and I love the flavor. I'll savor it. :)

I was looking for a true Scottish honey-the kind that is slight chrystalized, almost crunchy—this was just basic honey.

This honey is so delicious! We discovered it about a month ago and I've already bought 2 more so I don't run out! I've also gifted one to my bestie! This honey is so creamy and flavorful. You just have to try it!

The honey has a smooth sweet flavor that’s not overwhelmingly sweet. It’s a bit pricey, but after all it is imported from Scotland.
