The best Hitch bone saw ever made!
I had one of these years ago and it was the best. I lost it or loaned it out and needed to replace it. I tried several other flimsy brands and wasn't happy. Finally found this one again on Amazon and ordered it. Used this deer season and it worked great. Doesn't bend, easy to hold. It's a great design.

The Best That I've Found
The Sagen #1 is the best field saw that I have found for cutting pelvis bones on antelope, deer and elk. It just plain works. I've bought one of these for each of my four boys. It works fine for breast plate on antelope and deer but it will wear you out if you use on an elk. The saw is lightweight and compact. Teeth are sized similar to a bone saw. Blade is flexible but won't permanently bend and go out of shape. Teeth stay sharp. I have not tried the Sagen #2 but suspect that it would be better for elk breast plates. But it is a slightly larger saw. You can't go wrong with this saw.

Handiest saw for this specialized need.
Works great. Been using a knife to split the aitch bone on deer for decades; this is so much easier and the nub on the end prevents any organ perforations. Saw zips right through bone. Would work great on rib bones too.

Best pelvic saw ever
Bought this for my dad as a Christmas gift, he had one for over 30 years until he lost it in 2015, he's tried so many since then and none have that plastic tip to protect the pee sack. I just happened to find it not knowing they still make them and i see why they still do!. came with a black case and not the camo case that's in the picture like his old one had, but I believe he still has his, so that's no a big deal. I think he will love it!

Top notch
Best field dressing saw I ever used! Tough and doesn’t bend like all the Cheepos you find in your local stores. Quick sawing motion makes fast work on rib cage. I don’t break open pelvic bone but I’m sure it’ll be just as good there as well.revised: buddy used it on his buck this fall and it worked excellent as I thought it would. Don’t waste your money on any other!

Good build quality
Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but it seems of good quality and iam sure it will work fine. But until I try it out first it gets a four.

Had one, lost it, got another for Christmas
My wife replaced my lost pelvic saw this Christmas. This thing is the cats meow when field dressing Whitetail. Thanks to my wife. I now have a brand new saw. Durable, compact, and easy to use.

Manual saw-saw
Not going to lie, I carry a small battery powered saw-saw in the truck. I’ll usually gut deer to pelvis, tie off, then drag back to truck and use it to finish deer. I carry this saw in my pack, and while I try to avoid it, used in a few occasions. For years I had a 10 inch fold out hand saw. Didn’t work well and a pain. This hand saw works well in tight pelvis. Blunt end doesn’t puncture bladder, and takes up very little room in my pack.

Hunting deer, you will need this.
