Polare Full Grain Leather Backpack Travel Rucksack Fits 17.3'' Laptop For Men with YKK Zippers

My grandparents owned an upholstery shop and I used to make belts, glasses holders, and wallets so I know a bit about good vs bad leather products. This is my fifth item from Polare and I am impressed with the consistency of their quality of leather and the craftsmanship of the stitchwork and metal work. Some composite metal out there will break the first time you drop a bag on the floor. And if you are not used to carrying leather, know that there is some heft to it. I've used mine for about month and then returned to my messenger bag as a personal choice.The straps are wide enough to be comfortable carrying a 7 - 10 lb load and are adjustable. The mesh back with fixed strap allows for paperwork / map storage and will fit snugly around a carry-on with the retractable handle. (Only tried it on the one I have; don't know if handle width is a standard.) Just know that if it's hot out, with leather against your back and paper in between, the paper is going to get (here comes the word some don't like) moist. Mmmmoist. LOLInside the zippered, cavernous space, there is a zippered pocket a bit deeper than a large Kindle Fire. There's also two open pockets; each will accommodate an apple or tennis ball. There are also 3 loops for pens. If you happen to drop a black guitar pick into this chasm, you will not find it for several days.I think this bag makes a good commuter for college kids or is complementary to another leather bag you may have. It is both stylish and rugged, and should hang around a long time provided you treat it like any other real leather bag.My only hang up with the pack is that I could not put pens in the holder as they got hung up on items as I tried to remove them. I have a 15" Mac and a 17" Gateway ( a Delorean and a Mac truck) with respective wires and such. Getting what I need was akin to a typical fishing trip; I couldn't immediately land what I wanted and I was getting snagged up on things I did't want or need.In the end, it's a great bag that I will use as a carry-on for trips, trips to the coffee shop, added capacity when motorcycle riding, and excursions to the few bookstores that remain. I also feel confident saying that based on what I have ordered from Polare (wallet, ID holder, messenger bag, duffle bag), I recommend their products without reservation.

I have purchased a couple of items with Polare. The first purchase I had an issue and I have to tell you, you would think Amazon owned this company based on the service I received. These folks are so responsive that if you are having any doubts about their product, trust me.. They Completely STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. I was showing this bad to another friend who does shoe repair and owns his own shoe repair store and all he could say was WOW - The leather is such high quality he couldn't believe I bought it on Amazon for under 140 dollars. You can look at my profile, I dont write a lot of reviews but I can tell you this one inspired me to write one. The bag it comes in reminds me of a high end leather store. Purchase and you wont be sorry. I have the brown one and love it. I have not seen the others. Again - I would buy anything this company sells based on the service I received post sale the Amazon return period - they even reached out on the weekend. Now I want to see if they sell wallets.Their pictures are pretty good so didn't post any photos but can answer questions - ireally wish I had taken photos of the unwrapping. Next time. I also like how they have added rivets on this bag to reinforce the straps which I believe was a potential weaker spot on older models. I've had this bag for about a week and a half now, and I have to say -- I am totally in love with it! First of all, the entire bag is 100% leather and all the stitching seem precise and well done, so this is definitely a bag made to last a while. If I take care of this bag properly, hopefully I can make it last for 5-10 years, because it seems this is a stylish bag that also has a classic look and feel that won't go out of style.The packaging was pretty minimal being in a breathable bag (leather's gotta breathe!) and shipping was pretty fast as well. Looking forward to making more purchases from this brand, and I would recommend this bag as well as the brand. Overall: nice bag and it's built to last!

The bag is beautifully crafted with lovely full grain leather and stitched to perfection. I have had it for close to 6 months and it does not show the slightest wear. The leather ages beautifully, and to be honest, it does stand the trials of being an everyday bag, without having to care too much about it. Must mention though, it isn't a light bag as the full grain leather is weighty. Having said that, the materials used on this are of very high quality.Also must mention, the unboxing experience was delightful. I might even get another one.

The media could not be loaded.  I've had this backpack for a week or so and could not be happier with it! It has the great leather on the outside that I've come to expect from Polare and has a nice dark patina that will get better over time.Couple highlights from the video:-Extra security for when you're around a lot of people, no easy access for pickpockets-mesh ventilation on the back and the straps makes a huge difference when you're wearing it for a while-great weight distribution over the shoulders-PLENTY of room for whatever you need to carryOverall, an excellent choice for somebody looking to upgrade from their old high school backpack to something refined. Beautiful bag, always getting compliments on it. As soon as I received the bag and took a look inside the first thought I had was, these zippers aren't going to last long. And sure enough one zipper broke within 2 weeks of arrival. No big deal though. And I'm assuming the other zippers will eventually break also. Another advisory is, even without anything in it this bag is heavy. Once you start loading it up with your items it's only going to get even heavier on your back.

Nice bag, I received a lot of compliments but the stitching came out and it fell apart after a month of use.

I thought I would ditch my nylon backpack and step up in style with this Polare full grain Italian leather pack. It has nice dark brown leather with yellow/gold stitching for a cool vintage look. Beyond the looks, the leather is thick and the stitching is heavy so you know it's going to last forever. The top has a flap with buckles that snap in place magnetically. There is also a covered compartment on the outside with a flap closure. Inside, it starts with a good size main compartment with pockets on one side. The pockets are good for smaller items and feature a spot for a couple of pens. The other side has a larger open compartment with smaller zippered ones on either side. There are lots of places to store things in this backpack. The straps are adjustable, nicely padded, and of course made from the same high quality Italian leather. Polare is also kind enough to include a handy dust bag for storage. This is going to work great for a laptop, textbooks and a few binders for school. Really impressed with this backpack, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed if you got one.

An excellent rucksack made of quality full-grain leather! I couldn't be more pleased with the product and feel that this bag represents a very good value. Everything feels sturdy and well-made and the bag itself seems thoughtfully designed - I'm sure it'll last a long time with a little maintenance and the lovely leather will surely only look better as it develops a patina and acquires some scuffs. The bag was also much larger than I expected and more than fits my laptop and all my notebooks. Currently it's too new and pretty for me to want to risk any damage, but given its handiness, durability and large capacity I think it'd be a great travelling bag as well.

Wonderful - I was incredibly pleased with this product. Well crafted and great value for the money. The leather is high quality and the maker has paid great attention to detail. I'm sure it will last for years to come!

Just got the bag Monday, even with the limited use it's gotten so far I can tell it's going to last me a lifetime. This is the second bag I've gotten from Polare, and they continue to impress.I highly recommend this bag to anyone seeking a sturdy and long lasting, but fashionable backpack for light travel or school.
