Perfect outdoor jacket
Wanted a jacket for the colder months. Keeps you warm, plenty of room to breath or wear more layers, strong material and American made, looks great. In terms of sizing I'm normally a Large but I got a Medium and that was definitely the right choice- still plenty of room so get a size down. It's not waterproof but when it rains it never soaks through, so it's just a case of hanging it somewhere to dry. Got an inside pocket which is ideal for a wallet or phone etc. A really good purchase.

Great quality and price
I dont know of any work wear thats made to this standard in the UK, not at this price anyway. Rugged, well designed and warm. Slightly big on me but that means I can layer underneath which I think is the point of the generous cut. 5ft 7inch and 12.5 stone. The only downside is that Dri Duck dont have their entire range available via Amazon and they dont ship internationally via their US store. Prime members get a good deal as they get free postage from the USA!

Best Jacket I ever owned
Arrived today well packaged and straight away,I knew it was good by the weight.Superb jacket, very warm and well made.I am a 46inch chest and opted for the size Large.I am so pleased I did as the fit is perfect but with still room for a couple of under garments. If you want a rugged jacket which looks the part, just buy it.

Let me start by saying that this is an amazing jacket, the quality of material and manufacturing are superb and the design is spot on. I only give this product 4 stars as it arrived with a small snag in the elastic part of the sleeve on the right arm..... This imperfection is to small for me to be bothered with an exchange (especially given the long delivery times on this item) but large enough to be an annoyance. Such a shame on what is otherwise an excellent product. I have already ordered an additional DRI-Duck Jacket in another style and would highly recommend them.

Best purchase of the year
So happy with this jacket, its exactly what I wanted. In the uk you struggle to find this king of workman style coat and usually it's either Dikkies or Carhartt, and because of this you pay through the nose.(Dikkies is twice as expensive in the UK than USA).This coat is great quality the colour is better than I expected and hopefully last for years.I ordered a large which fits me fine and leaves me plenty of room to layer underneath if needed as they are designed to do so. My wife thinks the length is not long enough but actually I'm happy with it it sits just below my belt.I understand this a work jacket but I love the style of it and will happily wear it out and about. The funniest thisng about is it is cheaper to buy it on here have it shipped from Pheonix USA than trying to buy one over here if you can find one in stock. All in all its a great quality hard wearing jacket and in a style I love. The colour is lighter than the stock photo and is better than I was expecting.

Amazing jacket
Such good quality - you really do get what you pay for. Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side, but I have to say the craftsmanship, fit, quality and feel etc are all up to an extremely high standard. Great jacket. Super comfy and love it.

Great quality, but watch out for size
This is an amazing quality product. It’s so well made and comfy. The only thing I’d caution is on the size you order. I’m a 51” chest, and 250lbs. I ordered the XXL. It was way too big. I then reordered the Large, and that’s actually okay, but thinking the XL might be better if you want couple of layers under it.

It's a great value jacket.
It's warm. It fits (40 inch chest, bought medium). While it isn't waterproof it will take a shower without water seeping through. Unlike a lot of the high tec cold weather gear this doesn't rip to shreds when you snag it on a bramble or some rouh edged bit of wood.It is heavy but it's meant to cope with work.I've been really surprised by just how good this jacket is.

Awesome Jacket.
Ordered in field khaki color and love it. XL fits perfect for me at 5'11" 250lbs. The jacket has elastic around the waist and wrists so it's comfortable to wear while working. Also has an inner pocket for a smartphone or gloves, etc. Feels like it would be good for weather as low as 15-20 degrees. Below that, you might want to wear a hoodie underneath.

Navy color jacket fits like a Dickies XL Sanded jacket! And like a size L in Carhartt hooded jackets
Rugged weighty jacket! At 5'10" 240 XL regular length fits right on the money, not too short and not too long! Included size chart for these jackets from Dri Duck website! Numbers on chart equate to circumference around the chest and back in inches.

Reminiscent of the good ole carhartt jackets
Since Carhartt stopped most domestic production, and starting making huge huge oversized lower quality clothing i needed a change. I have had 4 older carhartt's from the late 90s that i wore every day to work for years and years! They were great, tough and wore true to size! I was always a medium so never had a sizing issue. Since then i looked at the newer ones and could not believe how huge they are. Not only that but they have lousy components such has buttons, stitching and zippers.Long story short i looked at all the leading competitor's products and walked away with an uneasy feeling not buying any. The Berne jacket was true to size but the arm lengths were 4" too long, and the pockets were shallow and the elastic around the waste was overly tight making the chest and belly area puff out!.The dickies was just flat out cheap. It looks cheaply made and the duck shell was low quality. I dont even want to continue talking about it cause they too have fallen victim too overseas corporate buyouts.C.e. Schmidt the tractor supply brand was basically the same as the dickies but for some reason fit and finish was a little better quality. I did not care for the zipper as it is weak. I think this may sound strange but it lacks identity and charisma that i believe carhartt used to possess. It was just an ok jacket that may give you a couple hard years of workWalls bomber hoodie jacket(sherpa lined) i think could be a potential "decent" jacket. It reminded me honestly of a polished up dickies jacket... Here to find out they are owned by dickies and manufactured in the same offshore plant. I was turned off by it all cause Walls was a great american company at one time.Enter Dri duck. Could not find in stores so i took a gamble and ordered one on amazon. I ordered my usual medium and when it arrived i was shocked at the heft of the package thinking here we go again...another jacket 3× too big. As i began to open it i was impressed by how soft the duck shell was. Very Finely brushed and broken in, yet reeks of toughness...very unique qualities. Upon putting on it was apparent that the jacket was perfectly proportioned in its length, width and sleeve dimensions. The flannel lining is soft and feels of quality. The stitching that secures the flannel and polyester filling is TIGHT! With no loose threads. Shocked! I then zipped up the big zipper and realized it was shockingly similar to the old usa carhartt's of the pre 2000's. It zipped up perfect and shows heft and quality. The cuffs and waist and excellent, Not too tight and not to loose. I am able to raise my arms and the sleeves or waist do not rise. The hood is perfectly sized and not bulky at all, could accommodate a hefty hat plus hood just fine as well. The inner lining of the sleeves are nylon and provide easy putting on and taking off task. This is truly an "active" jacket that is true to size.To sum this up i believe we have a company that is dedicated to quality as evident in the Cheyenne jacket. This jacket has all the qualities of the old usa Carhartt's without the badge and premium price. This jacket has " identity" and "charismatic" qualities not found in the land of Dickies and company. Dri duck is now all i will where for our cold northeast Ohio winters. Buy it... You wont regret!

Wrote earlier; am six feet tall and weight 190 pounds and experienced short sleeves and body length. Kept jacket because I feltthat due to the type of material (very stiff and tight weave) one may have to wear and use the jacket, leading to both the sleevesand body loosening up and than fitting appropriately. I hesitated to return the jacket for an XL and if what I stated above was accurate, have the jacket be too big. Material appears to be a tough fabric, wind resistant and warm. But shoveling snow or activity outside results in sleeves moving about mitten tops and waist line becomes exposed. I'm from Minnesota and that doesn't work well.
