Original Carly for BMW USB Package with Micro-usb Adapter for Android

Check Carly's website carefully be for buying. This cable is Android specific and only works on specific BMWs. It works well with Carly's android software on a 2002 BMW 530i. Features are limited and because that generation vehicle is so old, I don't anticipate many, if any, additional features specific to my vehicle to be added to the software. Carly's website requires a little exploration to see what their software can and cannot do for particular model BMW. My understanding is this is a modified ELM cable that could potentially work with other diagnostic software, but I found not other BMW specific software to work with it. I haven't had the opportunity to see if it could be used with different software on other make vehicles. For my vehicle, Carly states you cannot reset the maintenance light with this cable and software, but they sell a separate device for doing so. There are many posts explaining how to do a reset without any special devices. (Disclaimer: I won't go into any details because online solutions sometimes carry potential risks.)

Arrived. Adapter didn't work on any cell phone or Android device. I even wiped my cell phone and tablet to test this. Their customer service gives very canned responses so the first email is a waste (yes, email no phone number or chat, it's like we're living in the dark ages). They decide after 5 days and just as many emails that the cable is bad. They expect me to pay to ship it to them and they would ship me a replacement. PASS, I returned it to Amazon. I wish they made good products and it wasn't so hard to get a hold of someone.

I can confirm that it worked on BMW X5 2006 3.0 E53. I was able to perform a diagnostic, it reads the Engine, Transmission, Electronics, Dashboard (Instrument), Lights, Seats, Locks, Windows, pretty much everything.The APP does not have all the descriptions for all the codes, but once you get the code you can google it.I was also able to CODE some of my X5 settings. that was really cool.

The product came with a crack in the plastic and didn't work on my 2003 330xi so when I contacted carly they said I would need the bluetooth adapter to code the car

2011年式のBMW E82 135iクーペLCIに使用するために購入したのですが、今のバージョンのAndroid Carly Proには接続にBlotoothの項目しかなく、ケーブルで繋ぐことが出来なくなってしまいました。以前のバージョンにはCableの項目があったのを確認して購入したのに、バージョンアップで使えなくするなら、今後Cableは使えなくなる予定ですと記載して頂きたかったです。結局Bluetooth用のアダプターを買い直す事に。。。無駄な買い物になりました。追加：expertモードに変更するとケーブル接続の選択が出来るようになりましたが、結局繋がりませんでした。何年式以降のクルマには使えませんと記載していただきたかったです。

無線アダプターはアンドロイド版の場合、E85は使えず、このケーブルが必要です。アダプターの商品説明で「別途」と書いてあったので、このケーブルも必要かと思い、間違ってアダプターも購入してしまいました。

Android用に変換するアダプターが認識しなかったので焦りました。ヤマダ電機に売っているアダプターで代用すると使えました。

2004年式E46に使用BT接続はするがECUには接続できず

タブレットの種類で、USBのホストドライバーの機能が無いのものは接続出来ません。それ以外は問題無く作業出来ました。
