Dimensions8683 Santa's Arrival, Multi-Colour, 41 cm

This is my 14th Dimensions cross stitch stocking. They are lovely designs and are easy to create.

Another great kit by dimensions. Arrived on time and a great price.

Almost finished this cross stitch - really fun pattern. Nice and easy to follow, with large sections of the same colour so quick to complete (it's taken me just over a week). It comes with white felt but I'll probably use another material to make the stocking. This is my first attempt at a stocking (have been cross stitching for years) and I highly recommend you give this a go, even if you're a beginner. It's bright and colourful, I've really enjoyed creating these cute little snowmen.

I love this kit and thoroughly enjoyed completing it for my son for use at Christmas. It comes with plenty of thread in lovely bright colours so there is no need to worry that you'll run out before you've finished. I even managed to design a stocking for my daughter and use what was left of the threads to sew that as well.The only down side is that the threads have been specially sued for the kit and are not Anchor or DMC colours so, if you wanted to do a second stocking from the chart, you might have to alter the colour scheme slightly using threads more readily available.I also, could not work out how to actually make this into a sticking using the felt provided so I bought a stocking and stitched the design onto it instead.A lovely fun design with a good, clear guide at a good price.

I received very promptly. I have done several of these stockings from Dimensions and have enjoyed doing them. The finished product is great. My grandchildren love them.The only downside to this one is that he chart is smaller than the others have been & is quite difficult to see the different keys. I will still continue to do the ones from Dimensions though as I do prefer them.

Dimensions cross stitch kits are always good quality, this one was very good value for money.

I am nearly finished this kit now, and would like to offer the following comments:1) despite being quite careful about the amount of thread I am using and trying not to waste any, I have found that some colours are running very short. I have already had to get extra supply of one colour and expect to have to buy others2) the colour key chart is on the back of the plan for the bottom half of the stocking, so you either need to photocopy it or spend time turning the chart round and risk damaging it through over-handling3) the plans for the top & bottom halves overlap - this fact is not noted on the charts so I ended up unpicking (fortunately few) stitches - not the colours which have run short

I'm not finished with it yet, but it is exactly what I was expecting - very cute!For those who are criticizing - this is exactly what a counted cross stitch kit is. It's not hard, but it takes a very long time to complete. Nothing is printed on the fabric - you count everything following the directions. The fact that nothing is printed on the fabric makes it easy to make changes. I often change colors. For this one, I don't understand the limbs of the bottom bear, so I am removing the large feet and putting a gift to the right, where the foot is. Counted Cross stitch is a hobby, not a quick kit. Take your time and enjoy it. I am!

This project was very easy to follow as a beginner cross stitcher. It will take A LOT of time to work on but it was nice to have something to do with my hands as i watched a show in the background. The hardest thing was keeping my stitches the same tightness but an embroidery hoop holding it lightly taught helped with that.

Anyone familiar with Dimensions kits knows the quality. The charts are easy to read with just red, black and blue colors. The symbols are also easy to read. Dimensions always uses some color mixing and stitches with various amounts of thread. This kit is not for beginners, but the finished project will still be gorgeous.
