Big Solid Comb for keeping hair untangled, durable.
Have you got long tangly hair? This comb is good in the hand, strong and easy to pull through hair, once a day this keeps my hair straight, untangled and is made well. It's a big comb.

Great for detangling
Really good for fine, long, curly hair that tangles easily. Glides through with minimum breakage.

Smooth as Silk, Sturdy, Effective
I bought this shortly after trying a wide-tooth sandalwood comb and being very disappointed with it (it pulled my hair like crazy). I am pleased to report that this Cricket "Ultra Smooth" comb is exactly that--it's smooth as can be. It practically glides through my hair.My hair is very thick and wavy. This comb not only glides so much more smoothly through my hair than the sandalwood comb, it leaves my hair feeling softer and less frizzy. I'm skeptical about the infusion claims but can definitely say that this comb is far superior to the wooden one. I suspect it will also last much longer, given that it's all one piece (the wood comb is not) and is therefore sure to be more sturdy. This one's a keeper. The other one--well, let's just say that my garbage can is currently smelling faintly of sandalwood.

Good all-purpose comb for naturalistas
I'm Black with natural 4C hair that is about armpit length. That means lots--and LOTS--of detangling. Before washing, in the shower, before shampooing, while shampooing, while conditioning, etc. That means a good wide-tooth comb is essential. This one is great for a couple of reasons: 1) the handle is easy to hold, with wet hands, shea buttery hands, coconut oily hands, whatever! 2) it's sturdy and not flexible. That sounds like a bad thing, but when you're pulling a comb through coarse hair, you don't want the comb to bend, you want it to hold firm while it's pulling through. 3) there are no rough seams to catch on the hair; the comb is smooth all the way from the ends of the teeth to in between. That's crucial, because detangling wet hair with a rough comb can damage hair in a heartbeat. Now, I don't know jack about the claims that the oils infused into the comb will somehow benefit my hair; I'm disinclined to believe it. But this is a good all around comb for my needs.

Less Breakage, Smooth Combing
I really like this comb. Although it isn't completely "seamless," there is a vast reduction in the seams compared to other combs- you can see very slight seams if you tilt the comb sideways to look at it in bright light.I don't care much about it being infused with oils, so I don't really have an opinion on that. There is no detectable smell from the comb. The plastic is very smooth, thick and feels sturdy, with a slight weight in the hand when you hold it, but it doesn't feel heavy, just weighs more than a normal comb. This comb is long, but the handle is nice and ergonomic - fits nicely in the palm of your hand and is easy to hold. The teeth have nice rounded ends which massage my scalp gently but are not abrasive. I think it's convenient to use on wet hair and it detangles gently when I'm conditioning or blow drying. I am black/african-american and have thick, coily/curly natural hair, and I've noticed less breakage and hair loss while using this comb. I'm buying a second one for a family member.

This is the Best Comb!
I was looking at some argan oil products and somehow stumbled across this comb, considering that it is infused with argan oil. I was using another wide tooth comb by another maker and it broke! I've gone through several combs that were of different brands but this Cricket comb was an EXCELLENT replacement. It's not flimsy like some combs that are liable to break. If you have very thick hair, you will love this comb. It also feels ergonomically designed for your hands. I find the handle easy to grip and doesn't become hard to hold when your working with oils or creams in your hair. It also glides through your hair really well. I was like FINALLY! I can detangle my hair without wondering if the comb is going to snap in half. It is very sturdy. I find it to be even more sturdy than this comb: http://www.amazon.com/Conair-Styling-Essentials-Comb-Shower/dp/B001T8OF3U/ref=sr_1_2?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1425505076&sr=1-2 . I have this one as well and it's another great comb that I use regularly. But this Cricket comb is really deserving of these 5 stars. If your concerned about price, you will NOT be disappointed. If you are sick and tired of flimsy combs, combs that break, or combs that doesn't have wide enough teeth on them, you will really get your money worth with this one. I'm thinking of buying another one to have an extra one on hand. Great comb!

High quality
Feels high quality. I like how sturdy it is. The material looks pretty as well as the color. Bristles are smoothened and it does not hurt my scalp or get caught in my hair. I don't regret spending my money in this. Great value!

Keeps hair smooth...does not make hair frizzy!
I have very wavy hair. Whenever I used a comb or brush, my hair became frizzy. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this comb, but I read the reviews and thought I would try it. It must be the oil in the comb; the waves in my hair separate from combing, but my hair stays smooth and does not frizz. I like this comb so much I bought a second one!
