Beautiful lines quality and shape
I unfortunately could not use because I needed something lower and that stuck out over my tub more due to the positioning of my tub. It's a gorgeous heavy duty quality looking piece, tho.

Easy to install. Looks great.
The faucet was easy to install, but did need a Moen stem extension kit since the faucet that I was replacing was 24 years old. Looks great on our Roman tub. The faucet that was being replaced worked fine, but it was chrome and brass we wanted to change to brushed nickel. Would recommend.

All the Pieces are Metal
I just had my bathroom renovated. Although I kept the corner tub in place, there being no other shape that would aesthetically and functionally fit, I wanted to ditch the 20 year old Moen crystal knobs. I initially got a Kohler trim kit only for the contractor to find there was no earthly way to get it on the ancient Moen fittings (when I ordered the trim, I thought the tub was getting pulled out so any plumbing changes could be made but it turned out they were just re-tiling the surround without hauling out the tub). The Kohler had very similar handles to these but with plastic bases, and a very nice mostly horizontal spout that was very hefty metal. I loved that spout ... but had to find a replacement.Since I also loved the handle shape, I was happy to find this Moen trim. And even happier that the Moen cone bases are metal instead of thin light plastic. However, this spout is way too vertical given it would be on the edge you have to climb over to enter the tub. So I still have the old spout, with some crud around its base that I will try to eradicate soon. Apologies for the lighting, it's night now, the tile is actually a reasonably vivid blue. Still got decorating to do to add some warm hues back in, and new blinds are needed (the bathroom was green hues before), but you should be able to see how the handles look.Functionally, they're great. I had to get a separate adapter kit to match these to the 20 year old fittings (see other reviews for the specific adapter needed). The contractor did need to cut them down a bit as another review stated, and I didn't see everything he did, but the end result is handles that turn solidly, smoothly, and precisely. They match the overall softly curved chrome look of all the new fixtures, too.

sleek and awesome
I have a roman tub that didn't have an access panel (unless the plumber drilled through the crawl space up into the tub...) Well, here is the best thing around for that type of problem. It's a "trim kit". It's simply the handles and the faucet -- no plumbing required. Now I know you may think this is a little expensive for just handles and a faucet -- but I called Moen directly, and it was selling for the $350 price. I needed the nickle finish to go with all of the other faucets I had a plumber install. This is perfect. My husband had to do a little cutting to get the valves to line up -- but that was it. After a half hour to do it all. He called Moen first and they told him what to do. So, after all said and done, we did it without the help (cost) of a plumber, and the look is just terrific. Now, there is no hot and cold marks on the handles. So glad we bought this!! Now my neighbors want to do the same thing.

Looks very nice and fit perfectly
Looks very nice and fit perfectly. Moen sent me their Roman Tub Valve compatibility PDF file and it stated that the spout shank must NOT be less than 1 3/8". The shank on my mid-1990's valve was only 1 1/8", and the PDF stated NO current Moen trim kits would work and I would have to replace the valve. Unfortunately to do this I would have had to hire a tile contractor to tear out all the tile work that was done in front of the tub to get access to the valve. That expense would be huge to tear it out, install a new valve, and redo the tile. So I decided to order this trim kit just to see if it would work. When I got it I dry fit it on the shank and the shank extended past the rubber gasket inside the spout so I knew it would work. I installed the shank laying down a bead of clear water-proof silicone and there was no leaking. I ordered the Moen stem replacement kit ($11 on Amazon) and replaced the stems so that the handles would fit. Now the trim kit looks fabulous on the tub and I didn't have to pay a huge expense for a new valve and tile work. Guess it goes without saying don't believe what you read!!

I bought a used unit from amazon warehouse
I bought one of Amazons used units. It was beautiful adn like new. I seriously doubt it was ever installed. Probably a case of buyers remores from the previous owner and they returned it. At over $800 retail, the $100 price was great. THis Eva series is beautiful. Better than the photos. We replaced all the bathroom fixtures with the eva line and we love it. The construction is heavy and well made as you would expect form a brand like Moen. Installation was straightforward. Our valve set was older and had a different set up even though it was moen. I called Moen adn they sent out the plastic pieces I needed to correct the problem within a few days. Great product great service, what else can I say?

Beautiful faucet system but you need a bit of experience
Can't say how much my family loves this faucet compared to the one I replaced.I thought Moen fixtures were all pretty cheap, but that's just the ones at the big box stores. These are SOLID!You have to purchase the rough in kit to install this properly so you need plumber's soldering skills. Also, you have to have some skill in setting it up so that it will work. You need some experience doing plumbing installs. So I'm comfortable suggesting this is a good order if it suits your personal taste. It is a quality product, worth even having a pro install it for you.
