Choux Temptations Paperback – June 9, 2021

So so so amazing! So first off I don't necessarily think this is for someone with zero baking experience, but if you've made brownies, cakes, etc. you'll probably be fine. I love this book! I love the ideas and the step by step picture guide which shows you just how to put together these amazing show stopping little choux's I have made a couple of recipes so far and I am very impressed. This is the first book of Jialin's that I have bought but it won't be the last.I love the inspiration I get from this book I have made a couple of recipes and taken some pieces from different ones and made strawberry meyer lemon eclairs and they were a hit and I have also done just simple practice choux with caramel and pearl sugar (see photo below). This book is a great inspiration with all of the great photos and step by step guides. I wish more pastry books were laid out like this.I really hope she comes out with some additional books on petit gateau's and things like that. This pastry book is a must have for the home baker who loves to make impressive looking desserts.

Have not tested the recipes yet, but a lot of interesting pastries. Great pic and detail. Can't wait to try out soon

This book is an excellent and comprehensive guide to choux pastries. It has all of myfavorite classics --eclair, cream puff, religieuse, etc. The contemporary choux pastriesare trendy and elegant world-class creations! I love the creativity and modern pastrytechniques shown in this book as well as the author's scientific approach. The chouxcharacters are just purely fun!The recipes are written in great details with precise instructions, and the illustrativephotos make complicated procedure seem so approachable. I made caramel eclairs, ParisBrest, and olive oil pizza choux; absolutely marvelous!! I am ready for more challengingcreations...maybe a tempting choux tart. The pastry photos are mesmerizing works ofart...very avant garde! Over all, a must-have for everyone who loves French pastries!

Some interesting recipes of choux pastries and easy to understand with good amount of steps and pictures....definitely gonna give them a go since I've just got into baking.

Clear, direct, and detailed instructions and a good variety of fillings! The ingredients are measured by weight which means more precision. Although I am yet to try the recipes, I took a certificate course in pastry arts and upon reading trhe recipes, they do not depart from what I learned in class. Recommended especially for those like me who want more intense learning!

I love this book, so many beautiful and mouthwatering Choux pastries with detailed photo's. The recipes are very clearly written and easy to follow. Highly recommended!
