All metal, outlet spacing similar to duplex receptacles
One of the things I love about this power block is its durable construction. It is made of metal, which provides added strength and durability. I have used this power block for a variety of applications, from powering multiple electronic devices in my home to powering tools in my garage, and it has always held up well. The 4-foot cord of this power block is also very convenient. It is long enough to provide ample reach, yet not too long that it becomes tangled or difficult to manage. The lighted switch is another great feature, as it provides an easy way to see when the power is on or off.The spacing between the outlets is also sufficient, which allows for larger plugs to be used without obstructing other outlets.Overall, I would highly recommend this power block.

For the price it will get the job done
I need an extra outlet here and there, once in awhile out in my garage. This will do fine. The price was more than fair.Durable construction, made of metal for added strength and durability. It has held up to all my power needs in my garage. The 4-foot cord is very convenient. It is long enough for my needs without getting tangled up. The lighted switch also a feature I enjoy. It is easy to see when the power is on or off. The spacing between the outlets is perfect, allowing my larger plugs to be used without obstructing other outlets.I Highly recommend this power block.

Built to last
Owned these for many years, they are well constructed, durable steel, safe, practical and perfect for shop use. Like the illuminated on-off switch, especially when using glue gun, soldering iron, chop saw or routers. Just got 2 more for wall-mounting in my new garage shop. Wish they came with a mounting template so I didn't need to make one or waste time aligning the 4 keyed mounting holes on the back. It's fairly exacting, so use #8 pan head 1/2" or 3/4" sheet metal screws for best mounting on solid surfaces or drywall anchors on sheetrock. Minus 1 star for no template. Otherwise, should last you a lifetime.

Solid metal case, on-of switch, circuit breaker, non GFCI outlet great when you don't want or need a GFCI outlet
Solid metal case, on-off switch, circuit breaker, non GFCI outlet great for use with GFCI wall outlets. A bit short for elevated outlets in garage or commercial areas. Work well as plug strip run off wall or as plug strip run at end of extension cord. Non GFCI is great for running off wall outlets with GFCI. Other similar products have GFCI protection and are great for non GFCI outlets but this is a great option when you don't want or need GFCI.

Excellent quality useful and the right size for the job. I bought 4 of them so far.
I like this power box so much that I have bought it four different times from Amazon. The bright yellow color is very useful. The unit lays flat on the floor without flopping around. Most of mine I have mounted vertically, in mobile tool carts and workstations that I built with 2x4s, plywood and casters with a plywood top 24" wide working area and 19" deep. That is a good side for a soldering station for electronic assembly for example. Another one I have is in the garage with a 26" wide tool box on top of the wooden cart. The external screws you see in the photo are easily removed, then you can remove the backplate and mount it to wood with two mounting screws. Once it is on there solid just reconnect the main body of the unit to the mounting plate. If you need more than 2 screws to mount the power block you can easily drill your own holes. Once it was opened up it is clear the quality of the hardware is top notch, the outlets are very sturdy. It is very positive action when you plug into this outlet, it holds whatever cords you plug in very tightly. The switched outlet has a light that is bright enough to see easily but not glaringly bright. Four outlets is plenty for many usages.

This was s great choice.
I recently put an espresso cart in the garage. The espresso machine runs at 1500 watts at 15 amp, I also have a grinder plugged in as well. With a such power hungry equipment the right power block is crucial. The first consideration the length i the cord. Shorter is better, but it also has to be long enough to meet the need, the length of this cord was perfect. I put some heavy duty Velcro on the bottom of the unit which holds in nicely in place on the side of my oak filing cabinet, note the wall outlet is behind the cabinet and the power cords of the gear was too short to reach and I only had one available outlet and needed two. Second consideration an on off switch able to handle the power draw without tripping the fuse, this switch is up to the task. The Last consideration, the quality of the plugs, and these are high quality.I spent quite a while researching and am very happy with this power block.

Solid
What can I say, it's super durable, it's metal, it's a nice bright color, it has a LED indicator light, I never worry about it overheating or surging. This is the second one I've bought because my husband keeps borrowing mine for his music gear, so that his bandmates stop inadvertently stealing the generic white plastic power strips.
