I was told the child who received this enjoyed it.

This book is just what every curious child will love. Every two pages present a question at the top of the page which is answered through text and illustrations. Other related questions add details to the topic and a few to-do activities guarantee some extra fun. The internet links suggested for each topic are simply great, offering a chance to actively explore more about a castle and its inhabitants. The language is comprehensible to young children and each section gives a lively picture of all the routines and events that involved the people living there. A delightful book which will attract the attention of grown-ups as well.

Very colourful and informative. It is presented in a way which will appeal to young minds while giving them all the information they may require. I would recommend this book.

Great book with cutaways to look inside castles and what happens in them. Lots of information and little funny bits within drawings that would appeal to small boys in particular.

This turned out to be the go-to book of Christmas for my 6 year old grandson. He loves it, it is educational so that's good enough for me.
