Just as advertised. Will convert RCA (the red, white, and yellow cables) to HDMI. Also has a switch on the side so that the user can change between 720 P and 1080 P.

RCA Upscaler.
Just bought a karaoke player at my local goodwill and its was still in good condition. The problem i got is the old RCA port that don't compliment reallt well on my reciever. As per advised by a friend,i find a RCA to HDMI adaptor that will convert the signal from the old RCA cable to newer HDMI technology. Now i was able to use the said karaoke player with a much better video quality source.Upon using it for more than a week, i noticed that it somehow upscale the quality of video im getting out of my karaoke. The minor lags that i noticed playing it using the RCA ports are somewhat improved. By the way, you must plug in the usb cord that comes with the package to provide power on the device so that it work properly. I have learned it the wrong way, good thing i got someone to asked for. The downside for the package for me is it doesnt have an adapter for the usb cable but its not a big deal as all household i believe has an adapter from a phone or a usb outler anyway. The device is a plug and play thing and very easy to use/mount.

Loud crackling noise
Makes a loud crackling noise which is distracting when trying to watch a video

Great with another wire.
I'm not very good at doing things like this. But I'm learning in my old age. This alone will not work, you need a wire to hook to it for power. After I got that it works great.

Product does not work
Very disappointed in this product. It does not work. I tried using it on one older flat screen TV and a new flat screen TV. I used multiple cables and two different VCRs. Also product does not have a LED power indicator light, but it did get slightly warm (warmer than room temperature) so I assume that it was getting power. I would prefer to return it but missed the return window as I was out of town when the product shipped to me --my bad.
