Good reliable discs for recording
Try getting Amazon to package these correctly!after an earlier order of the same items, after a lengthy 'chat correspondence' we made sure that when the same items are ordered again, the packaging would be adjusted to suit these particular precision items that don’t like impact. If a basic request for packaging, which i would have been happy to pay for, from someone who has enjoyed the services of Amazon for nearly two decades, we might actually know what we're talking about from extensive experience. If such a basic request cannot be processed, Amazon is no longer a professional service. It's also hugely wasteful. These are precision items that don’t like impact, they are also vibration sensitive. Each spool requires approximately 30mm or 3Cm of bubblewrap around the whole of each spool, with tape securing the bubble wrap as an individual unit to protect from impact. The box should be tight fitting where possible. Where there is space, plenty of of the standard paper wrap stuffed in tight to prevent any movement. They should also be marked fragile on the box.

Don't Believe Everything
My last batch of discs were Verbatim 700MB 52x 80min. I read all the reviews and verbatim came highly recommended, on the net, and personally. For the reasonable price they seemed the best bet, but I've had more than my fair share of skipping music since I started using them. I aways burn music at X 20 (because that was recommended as the best speed) but am wondering wether to start wacking them out at X 24. Any road up I've switched to the Philips (god knows who makes them, might even be Philips) and so far everything has been tickety boo, so I would definately recommend them. But remember a lot of this stuff is subjective and some people can get a tad paranoid about certain things so don't believe everything you read.

The best blanks I have used
I purchase most of my music these days via itunes - call me old fashioned - but I then burn them onto CD - and complete the art work to place into my collection.Over the years (too many to remember) I have used numerous CD blanks - but these are excellent quality. No issues whatsoever - recommended

Reliable
These arrived yesterday and haven't used them yet, as there are 100 it will be some months before I use them all so u Til then will not know if I have any problems with them. Have purchased in the past and not had any problems so hopefully it will be the same this time

I have been using Philips CD-R’s (amongst others) for a good part of 25+ years now
I write this as an indirect response to the negative comments by some of the buyers and canconfirm that it is NOT the quality of the CD-R’s that are a problem. I have an idea of whatthese buyers are doing and can guess what their problem/s is/are. Of course, there are solutions to their issues but the first thing for them to do is research what may be wrongon Google and then apply some logic. Don’t blame the product.I have been using Philips CD-R’s (amongst others) for a good part of 25+ years now.I have ordered 150 Philips CD-R’s over the past week and have used up 130 of thesethis week and none have been faulty. Philips QC is top of the range. And these are not fake either.Good price and service for best quality product.

Meh
Not sure if these are legit tbh. I burned a few albums and 3 didn't work, the rest are jumping. Take a while for a cd player to read the cd at all.
