Wind Turbine project
It is huge! I think it is brilliant. I am taking it into school for students to analyse. I think it will be an excellent learning resource to disassemble, assemble, draw and motivate students to make a model. Blades are the best!

Not robust enough for regular use
I thought this looked ok and was easy enough to assemble.Using a plastic bottle as a stand was not a good idea so I made a wooden base.To use it for demos I decided to use a desk fan rather than have to do demos outside and only when wind is blowing. On the first outing the vibration stopped it from working. I fixed this with a couple of small washers and some glue but am not confident that it will stand much use.

My boy loves this
Great, sturdy design for the money. Nice big LED light that glows when the turbine fans spin. A must-have for anyone with fan-obsessed menaces.
