Review of the REAL cookies; Ingredients; Nutritional info
All the early reviews here so far are of the wrong cookies (actually Cake Batter Crisps Bite Size Cookies), sent by mistake. I contacted the manufacturer about this and they sent me the right ones. And the real Confetti Cake Batter Drizzled Dessert Cookies are very good, in my opinion much better than the ones we got by mistake. The flavor is richer than I expected, the glaze drizzle adding a luscious accent. The texture is just right, soft with a touch of that doughiness I like in this kind of cookie. (They don't overdo it, it's not raw in the middle.)Don't know if it's elves or what, but for some reason the red and green sprinkles stand out, so although the sprinkles are a little sparse, these have a Christmassy look. You get 18 cookies per order. One's just right for me to top off a filling lunch, with a little milk.Ingredients: Creme cake mix (sugar, enriched wheat flour [with malted barley, niacin, iron, thiamin, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid], corn starch, soybean oil, vital wheat gluten, soy flour, whey powder, salt, soy lecithin, leavening [sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate]), natural flavors, eggs, glycerine, cream cheese (pasteurized cultured milk and cream, stabilizers [carob bean and/or guar gum]), palm oil, canola oil, glaze icing (powdered sugar, water), candy sprinkles (partially hydrogenated vegetable oil [cottonseed and/or soybean], soy, lecithin, dextrin, confectioner's glaze, natural and artificial flavors, red 40 lake, yellow 6 lake, yellow 5 lake, blue 1 lake, red 3 red 40, carnauba wax), sugar. If you prefer grossly sweet cookies, you'll like these
When I received the Simply Sweet Bakeshop Confetti Cake Batter Drizzled Dessert Cookies I could barely eat one little cookie. To me, the cookies have a disgustingly sweet flavor and taste like a mix of cake batter and straight icing off the cake, neither of which I’ve ever been a fan of. Don’t get me wrong. I like sweet things (way too much!) like homemade sugar cookies but I can’t stand anything that is overdosed in sugar and drizzled in molasses and other syrups. The crunchy vanilla taste just doesn’t make up for the overly sweet taste. In fact, everyone in my household thought they were “gross.”However, I like the packaging and the appearance of the cookies. On the other hand, I don’t like the ingredients that include artificial flavors and tons of dyes that likely give the pretty sprinkles their prettiness.Anyway, I brought the cookies to a meeting and my friend Bill raved about them so much, that I told him I’d order him another box that he could bring home with him and have with milk! So, you see, everyone certainly has their own unique taste buds.Initially, I was going to give the cookies 1-2 stars, but after hearing my friend Bill’s opinion, I am giving them 3.5 stars.

Addictive
I thought the first cookie I ate was pleasant, but nothing special, but many more cookies later I have discovered I really enjoy these. The flavor really does taste like a confetti cake (basically a white cake), with perhaps a more pronounced vanilla flavor (one person I served them to said it reminded her a bit of the flavor of a vanilla wafer). The texture, however, is nothing at all like a vanilla wafer. The cookies are about the diameter of a quarter, but much, much thicker, and they are hard with a bit of a crumbly texture. Their plainness is their charm, as they are delicious with your favorite hot beverage, or milk, or as a touch of sweetness to a simple fruit dessert (I had a few with a banana at lunch today) or as a pleasant snack. They aren't especially attractive, but that's the only negative I can see. I'd buy these again.

3 1/2 stars
These cookies are ok - small but thick (slightly larger in diameter than a quarter) with a mild cake batter taste. I would prefer a stronger flavor but others may like a milder taste in sweets. These come in a three pack of 6 ounces each. The cookies are sealed in plastic inside each box, which does close easily once opened. Each individual box is perfect for a gift basket or even just as a small token gift for a work colleague or service provider - think babysitter, mailman, UPS deliveryman (in addition to a check if warranted). These look like gourmet cookies and are ready for a bow and gift giving even if the flavor was a bit disappointing for me. 3 1/2 stars.

Perfect Little Snack
These teeny weenie little cookies about the size of a nickel make a perfect little snack. The problem is they are like potato chips as once you start snacking it is hard to stop. The reason I knocked off the star is because of the packaging. Once the inside bag is open it doesn't close tightly so the cookies need to be moved to another container to prevent them from going stale. The bag states 6 servings per package. So either new container, eat them all, or find some friends :)I do give the company credit because the outside box appears to be made from recycled paper. If they could get the inside package adjusted it would be great.

underbaked, dry, no drizzle
I'm a big fan of crunchy/crispy cookies because I think they pair well with tea so I wasn't displeased that these weren't soft (even though that was what was promised). However, I wasn't happy with the fact that they seemed to be underbaked in the center and the middle was dried out dough. This gave them an odd flavor and texture which didn't pair well with the artificial cake batter flavoring. Also, the pictures and description promise a drizzle of icing, but not one cookie in the three boxes had that. There were a few random sprinkles embedded in the cookies, but they were otherwise unadorned. Overall, I found these pretty disappointing.
