Easy!! Love, Love Love it!
ok so the machine is loud but I was expecting that from the other reviews, but its really no that bad. Its no louder than your average vacuum cleaner, blender or food processor. I have had my heart set on a machine like this for some time.I had been cranking out fresh pasta with a manual machine and was limited to just fettuccine, spaghetti and lasagna with it. This machine takes all the work out of making fresh pasta and makes perfect ziti and rigatoni. After tasting fresh pasta you will never ever want to eat store boxed pasta again. I use my food dehydrator trays to dry the pasta.1 batch takes about an hour and generously fills all 4 trays.Great machine, it has earned a spot on my kitchen counter for regular use.Recipe booklet even has a gluten free recipe.Highly recommend!

Seems there really are no good ones out there
Well the box was impressive! BUT the machine stopped half way through the cycle. We cleaned it out and started over only for the same thing to happen. I have given up on a pasta machine. Seems there really are no good ones out there.

Broke on first use.
Seemed okay but toward the end I heard some clunking sounds and things slowed dramatically. I finally quit trying to extrude the last 1/3 of the dough, and when I began cleaning found one of the little paddles broke off. This was the first time I used it. Am returning it - of course, and have already ordered a Phillips. The pasta I did get was tasty.

jury is still out of whether this machine is worth the dough. I can say that adding water is pretty much a guarantee of a sticky mess that won't extrude, and will then dry into concrete if you try to correct by adding flour. I've had best results with 1 lb.semolina flour, 3-4 large eggs, and 11/2 tbs. olive oil and a dash of salt. Overworking the dough will ruin it. Not more than 11/2 minute initial machine kneading, then a few drops of water, and needing until the crumbly texture coheres just enough to drop into pieces into the extruder bin. Once the extruding starts, don't stop unless you can close the bin, and then check the bin for blockage before you start again. The taste and texture of the finished pasta is very good, good enough to keep me experimenting with consistent extrucion with the right blend of pastas, Overall, not a machine for the timid or inexperienced, or the impatient.

I'd recommend it.
I bought this pasta maker to serve as a quicker alternative for my Imperia pasta maker (which I love). The Viante automatic pasta maker requires a bit of a learning curve, as the consistency of the pasta absolutely determines how long the process will take, and I've found that to be true with my manual pasta maker as well. The Viante automatic pasta maker is loud, but it is quicker and less labor-intensive than a manual - and for that, I'd recommend it.

Extremely happy!!!
I love my Viante!!! First time out worked perfectly!!! Tasted great! Family loved it! Easy to use! Received it quickly and efficiently! Would recommend it to everyone! I first learned to make pasta by hand. Then went on to use a pasta roller. Now I have my awesome Viante! I can't wait to make the Biscotti!

loud and slow
The product is slow and loud... I know about the "learning curve" but thats not the issue. Im trying to return it but the customer service is terrible. I have never bought something from a company that I couldn't return. I absolutely hate this product and customer service. I used to buy from them in past, but will never again. I will tell all my friends and family to never buy from them. Im not sure why I cant return it. Its making a terrible noise and ive had it for less than a month.

Don't waste your money
Sadly I was very disappointed with this pasta maker. I think it has potential to be good. I just did not find it. I made the pasta dough as instructed and kept it at a pea size for the extruder. The dough kept getting over moist and becoming larger bits of pasta. Which meant I had to keep stopping the machine and sprinkle in some flour and start it back up again. I only hit the sweet spot of the pasta dough once, and it started to moisten up again and that was the end of that once I added a tablespoon of flour. I also ran it for almost 45 minutes and never ran out the pasta dough. In my opinion this needs to be a two speed unit. One for mixing and a slower one for feeding the pasta tube. It spins so fast that it looked like nothing more was going through and I gave up. I really wanted to make pasta with shapes and wasted about 5 pounds of flour trying out this machine. I see there were some very positive reviews here and in my opinion they were very lucky or not terribly honest about this product. I do not recommend this for anyone.

Five Stars
Best pasta ever. A little tricky getting the right consistency, but once that's figured out, fantastic results

Après deux utilisations, le batteur pour la pâte c'est brisé et je n'ai jamais réussi à avoir un remboursement. Un article à l'image de la compagnie qui le fabrique, pourri. Je déconseille fortement de faire affaire avec cette compagnie.
