This book remains a good compendium on feminist ideology.
This book is a tool to understanding gender relations in society.

A bas la patriarchie!
The Liberation of African and Third World Peoples is Contingent Upon the Liberation of Third World Women! Thomas Sankara's ideas continue to be inspirational and relevant. I hope that African men start paying more attention to this one.

I wish I met Thomas Sankara, he seemed to be a man wise beyond his years. The speech in this book was such a great read!

Short but informative read
You can read this on the bus or during transit but it’s interesting to hear about women in a building of an independent country

An underrated practical leader.
This is a concise book. It's a transcript from a couple of speeches, and it reads easily because of that. A lot of socialist theory is a bit heavy for no good reason, but this is very accessible. I guess he wanted to be well understood by the regular working class. He highlights the importance of revolutionary feminism and points out the flaws in the bourgeois "liberation" that women have received. If the powers of imperialism hadn't have killed this man Burkina Faso could have been a shining example for Africa and even the rest of the world.Definitely worth a read, and read about the history of their revolution too if you get a chance.

Good book
It’s a good book but the cover is a bit flimsy, almost like a pamphlet but not quite. Still recommend the book itself!
