If you are seeking a very heavy power twister exercise unit you may want to check out this one.
As someone who has been seriously into numerous martial arts and hard core physical fitness (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Boxing, Wrestling and Combatives. Warrior Circuit training, various Military Fitness routines such as SEAL, and Special Forces etc.), for more than 6 decades I have used just about every type of exercise equipment on the market. Even though I am a senior with age and physical issues; nevertheless, I am always seeking equipment and unique ways to become stronger and fitter. When I saw this product (Boshen 66 pounds Power Twister Bar for chest, arms, upper body strength training, heavy duty arm and chest builder) on Amazon for a bargain price I decided to purchase it. One of the many things I like about product is that it comes in 3 different resistance levels (40-66-88). I am fairly strong I decided to order the 66 pound level rather than the 88 pound level at this time. I have loved using this kind of exercise equipment years ago when Joe Weider sold them, and I decided to again make it part of my workout routines. My two minor complaints is that there was NO INSTRUCITON MANUAL WITH IT and the resistance at the 66 pound level was stronger than I thought it would be; however, there are routines on line using this piece of equipment.I really like the Boshen power twister, but I was surprised how much resistance the 66 pound model was because I had trouble bending it for my exercises. You may want to start with the 44 pound model unless you are very strong.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Tactical Principles of the most effective Combative Systems).

Harder than expected
I really want to like and use this product, was looking for something that will work the abs and chest without having to get down on the floor or lifting weights. I'm middle-aged female and my weight fluctuates between 120 to 140lbs, depending on the season, anyway, I made the mistake of following some reviews, the ones that said the 44lbs was too light or easy. So, I ordered the 66lbs, and oh boy, I can't make this thing budge, it's immovable, for me at least, and I really want to start using it now, don't think I'll ever be strong enough for this one. It's a high-quality product, looks durable like it will last forever. I've contacted the seller for an exchange for the 44lbs twister bar, no refund requested even if the lower weight bar, 44lbs is cheaper, just an exchange. I still have original packaging and no delivery damage. I hope things work out.

Solid construction and reasonable price. But very strong resistance.
I bought the 88 lb. version of this and cannot budge it. I am 6.1 240 lbs. and work out at the gym (when it is open) 4 times or more a week. But this is a bit to difficult for me, so now I ordered the 66 lb. version and will hopefully work up to the higher resistance device.I received the 66 lb and it was a bit tough too. I recommend buying the 40 lb to start, unless you are extremely strong already

Difficult to bend if you are a weakling
I bought the 88 lb version. It is tough, so if you are weak, don't consider it. I can do about 10 good reps but I usually do 300 pushups over 10 sets and 10 sets of 50 lb dumbbells x 15 reps a set for the chest press. (Working out at home). I can probably bench somewhere around 185-200 lbs (have lifted as much as 285 in a workout in my hey day). I would think that if you are similarly strong, then you can use this to supplement your workouts. However, from days of lifting heavy (I have a small to medium frame) my rotator cuffs are damaged (my book on shoulder exercises has really helped). And, sadly, when I crush the reps with this, my rotator cuffs hurt. So, if you have shoulder impingement, maybe don't buy this. I cannot attest to how long this will last. I assume, since I am not really using it, it will last forever. Anyway, good luck, enjoy if you do decide to buy one and have some happy work outs.

Get heavier size
I love these for chest exercise. Bought a too weak one, get the 66 if you're a bigger person.

Very Lightweight!
There is nothing heavy weight about this thing! The description is very deceiving and misleading because I can forsee that it will not aid in my workout regimen, and I am a woman who can work with about 75 pounds using both hands. It's a lightweight instrument that maybe a 12 year old can use to gain muscle and strength, but not an adult. I think I will return for a more heavier one because this one will probably collect dust if I keep it!

THIS PRODUCT IS TOO NARROW FOR USE AS DESCRIBED-BAD DESIGN-DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
I received my product. I tried it out and it was very unwieldy as well as very narrow, which eliminates any ability to use this as needed to get anything from the usage. I was told in an email that maybe I am not strong enough to use the product. I am 6ft 2 and 270lbs. It is simply that it is not a very good design, placing your hands too close together causing a loss of leverage. I was told I had to pay the postage to mail it back, which would be roughly 1/4 of the cost of the product. I find this unacceptable. I have asked for a full refund or for the return cost to be covered. I am awaiting a reply. UPDATE-THE SELLER CONTACTED ME AND APOLOGIZED. THEY WILL BE WORKING THIS OUT IN A REASONABLE WAY. I WILL WAIT FOR THE FINAL RESOLUTION AND THEN WILL UPDATE THIS TO SHOW THE CONCLUSION.

Great Addition
I originally bought the 66lb unit and it was too easy. I bought the 88lb unit and was very pleased with the results for strengthening arms, shoulders, and hand grip. Using the 4 exercises recommended in 3 sets of 20 reps each it provided an OK workout. But I also bought the Odoland Wrist Strengthener and incorporated the 4 recommended exercises in 3 sets of 20 each. When the two exercise units are used together in alternating sets of 4 exercises it provides an excellent upper body workout especially when used with an additional 20 minutes of stepping exercises or indoor bike riding. I am very pleased with the strengthening results. I am 70 and found these two additional exercise units provide better results than my dead weights
