Excellent for parbaking thin pizza crust
This is my first experience with silicone baking mats. I make a lot of homemade thin crust pizza by parbaking the crust then adding the toppings and baking. I was having trouble with the pizza crust sticking to the pan even when it was well-greased - possibly because the thin crust requires a lot of repeated stretching in the pan, and if it gets too thin in a spot, that spot is susceptible to burning. I ordered this mat because it is thicker than the others that I saw and heat resistant up to 536 degrees F, and pizza needs a hot oven. The other mats I saw were only good up to 450 or 480. I tried this mat and for starters, it was easier to stretch out the dough because it sticks just a little to the mat and doesn't spring back like it does on a greased pan. After parbaking, the crust slid out of the pan like magic - no fighting with the spatula to get it unstuck. Note that with this mat, you will not achieve a crispy crust - however, if you use it for parbaking (i.e. use a very wet dough, cover it with a layer of sauce to keep it from drying out, and pre-bake it until it is mostly baked but not crispy), the parbaked crust comes out holding its shape, and then you can add the toppings and bake it the rest of the way directly on the pan (i.e. remove the mat) or on your pizza stone or even directly on the rack to achieve a brown and crispy underside. I have not tried this yet for regular or thick crust, but so far it works for my thin crust and I am really happy to avoid the whole will-it-stick-or-won't-it? question when the crust comes out of the oven. I just got it so I don't know how it holds up over time, but it appears to be of high-quality.

Excellent mat
I really like this silicone mat. It has the European certification that I always look for. It is a thick mat and bakes wonderfully at any temperature. Recently I used it when I baked squash at 400 degrees for 1 hour. The mat performed very well. It is also easy to clean.

High quality
I've used this mat at both 425 degree and 375 degrees so far, and it worked perfectly in both cases. Incredibly easy to clean and completely non-stick. I did use it on a quarter sheet pan that was about 9" x 13" on the inside and the edges of the mat overlapped the pan, but I didn't mind because it was still usable for my cookies. It would probably work best/lie flat on a half sheet pan (about 13" x 18")

High heat mat.
***edit as of December 9, 2019.I had an issue where my mat de-laminated. I contacted customer service and they took care of it right away!The customer service alone is worth 5 stars!- original post.This was exactly the baking mat I was looking for.Most mats can take a few baking sessions at 500°, but constant use will start cracking them, normally by the fourth or fifth use.These have held up very well and are very THICCC.If you frequently bake at high temperatures, I would suggest you grab one.

Nice Baking Mat
I purchased this baking mat as a gift for my daughter, so I have not actually used it. However, I liked that it is made in Germany and it seems very nice. I was also impressed with the care and concern from the seller about my satisfaction with the product. I also liked the fact that there is a warranty included. UPDATE: My daughter has since used the baking mat and she is very happy with it.

Made in China--1 star. Description deceptive.
I give this product 1 star, because 1) it's made in China; 2) the product description is deceiving--only the SILICON is made in Germany. I was under the impression the entire product was made in Germany. I spent easily a 1/2 hour looking specifically for something NOT made in China. I really don't care how it preforms, I'm returning it.

Such a joy to use
This mat is superb! It is so easy to roll out dough without the mat sliding all over the place and the dough releases very easily. Cleanup is a cinch also since the nonstick surface is really that - nonstick. So glad we purchased this baking mat.

Doesn’t hold up to heat
Does not live up to high heat claims. Only used at about 450° and still peeling and cracked after fewer than. 10 uses (just over a month).Stains easily as well, but had to throw it away because of cracking and peeling.
