I love these rail covers! ***UPDATED (still love them after 4 months!)***
These are really nice rail covers. They're a little thicker than the cheap Wades rail caps I had on before. They also have far better adhesive coverage than the Wades. In the 3rd photo, you can see the underside of the Wades rail cover I removed and the new Bushwacker rail cover side-by-side - the Wades have a few miniscule little adhesive strips and the Bushwackers have adhesive strips running the entire length of the rail. (**UPDATE** - for some reason the photos I uploaded are not showing - I have tried to upload them again.) In the first photo, in the background, you can see cinder blocks on top of a piece of board all sitting on top of the second newly installed rail. They recommend 24 hours of pressure applied to the rail covers to get full adhesion, so that's how I did it - the board spreads the weight out along the full length of the rail, as well as protects the rail from getting scratched by the cinder blocks. In the last photo, you can see where the wind lifted the Wades rail caps off the rail after they warped. I tried adding more adhesive to them - construction adhesive and double sided extra strength "dots" adhesive goo, but to no avail. The Wades caps just lifted off again, eventually cracking. I expect these Bushwackers to stay put based on their thickness and greater adhesive area. The plastic is different too - the Bushwacker plastic feels a little softer, a little more pliable than the Wades and for that reason, I think the Bushwackers will be able to expand or contract with varying weather conditions, where the more rigid plastic of the Wades could not. I think that's what caused the Wades to warp so quickly. Also, these Bushwackers have a secondary attachment feature - they get screwed down to the inside/underside of the rail (no drilling required). Finally, the fit and finish of these is excellent - they look 100% factory option. I can't speak highly enough about the Bushwacker rail covers. I'll update this review after a few months of use. ***UPDATE*** - It's been over 4 months since I installed them - 2 of them in the hot summer California sun and these rail covers are still rock solid. No lifting, peeling or slipping anywhere at all. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Matches the factory tailgate cap exactly!
I did a lot of searching before I found this one that had the same design on top as the factory tailgate cap. Most of them have no ridges or just long ones that run lengthwise down the rails. The hardest part of installing these was having to remove my toolbox and lift up the headache rack so they could fit under it. If I didn't have those, I would have had these installed in 30 minutes or less!I was happy they fit under them, I bought them with the original intention of having to cut off the front part of these caps to fit. They stick down with plenty of included 3M double face tape, and a couple of screw clips on the underside of the bed rail. Be sure you have them EXACTLY where you want before you stick them down, or you'll be prying them up and replacing the tape. Once that stuff sticks, it sticks good! FYI, I saw another reviewer mentioning having to pry theirs up and they just bought a new set. You can buy the 3M tape and most auto parts stores, and likely on Amazon too, so you don't have to replace the whole set if you screw up sticking it down the first time. Just get some more tape. For the tape strip that runs along the outer edge that curls over the bed, pull a little piece of the red down on each end, but don't take the whole thing off. This way, you can stick down the top part, then pull those red tabs you loosed down and otu after it's in place, and then press on the outer part. Otherwise, it's pretty hard to get it over the bed rails without the tape sticking. This made an immediate improvement on the look of my truck. I bought it slightly used and the previous owner had dinged up the top of the bed rails a bit. You'd never know it now! Looks fantastic and exactly like the factory ones. These are thick enough I have no doubt they will last a long time. Well worth the money. They even look great with the toolbox and headache rack over the front end of them.

Great option for '09 Long Bed
Purchased these for my 2009 Silverado 1500 W/T long bed along with the Bushwacker tailgate cap. Although there are a few flaws, overall, these are the best plastic bed rails on the market.Installation was a breeze with two people. Follow the instructions (install on warm/sunny day, clean rails, etc.) and you shouldn't run into any issues. My only complaint is the stake hole cutouts like many other reviewers before me. I'm not sure if Bushwacker purposely makes them not fit perfect on purpose for potential of user error during installation or what. Some holes are a perfect fit while others are .25" - ".5 off. Though it's not too big of a deal, it's a quality control issue that they need to fix. They also have a very sharp edge on them from how they were cut. I sanded mine down on the edges a tad. The rails are a perfect fit for my truck and offer excellent protection. They look great and are solidly built.I will update this review if I run into any more issues. Though the stake holes could be better, there isn't a better option (had Wade rails previously and these are much better) so I'll make due. If possible, I'd rate 4.5/5.
