Handy when touring or mountain biking
Good size and light weight, easy to pack in pocket or bag. Will be worth having if you tear the tyre side wall

Sidewall Repair
I am sure that if my tyre split anywhere other than the sidewall and I was in the middle of nowhere, with no help possible, like many others I would try this out at fixing the tyre. They take up barely any room and so well worth carrying if you are likely to be more than a few miles away from a cycle shop. I am carrying one for a cycle tour in some remote places in Scotland. Not used yet, but worthwhile insurance.

Utter rubbish
Does not stick to the tyre at all! Waste of money, glad i tried before being in an emergency

Always carry one - you'll ned it one day.
These boots are for the situation where the tyre wall (usually) has failed. This can be a catastrophic failure - where the wall either splits or comes away from the bead - letting the inner burst out through the hole in the tyre, or a cut that is going to fail if left. The boot is stuck - its self adhesive - on the inside of the tyre and keeps the inner from pushing out through the hole/split.Well worth a place in your puncture kit.

Works a treat
Thankfully only had to use these once and they held up perfectly well. They are great to take out on long rides, easy to store permanently in the saddle bag because of their size.A great failsafe.

Difficult to use in the real world
Probably works fine if you are at home but with a sealant filled tyre out in the wild it doesn't stay in place.
