5.11Tactical Men's TDU Short Sleeve Polo Shirt, Breathable Fabric, Teflon Finish, Style 71339

I normally wear a 2XL t-shirt, but even the XL in this shirt was slightly large on me. If you're between an XL and 2XL, go with the Large.This is a great shirt! It fits nicely, it's breathable, durable, and moves well. I wear it to play paintball, and it does a great job. It doesn't stain, it's tear resistant even when I run through thorns and rub against barricades. It's breathable, and will let some paint through the shirt, but the shirt washes out cleanly by just spraying with a hose thanks to the treated fabric.

These are unique shirts. I could not find them in the 5.11 brick and mortar store as I was told these are marketied as a uniform line of clothing and they don't compete with their uniform partnering stores. These are seriously heavy duty military grade BDU/TDU shirts. The fit is loose through the chest, assumably to accommodate body amour. Material is water resistant as advertised. Love the large buttons. Only thing though, as in regular military BDUs, if you keep the top button undone, then you would normally need to wear a t-shirt underneath as the next button down is about four inches.

The shirts are basically the same style as some I had back in the early 2000s but the fabric changed from what it was to a thinner nylon cloth. The older fabric was much more comfortable and wrinkled less. Otherwise, I like the chest pockets for their size. I really miss the old cloth though.

-As other reviews say, go one size smaller. I'm a large and took a medium.-Mine had sew on epaulets. Some reviews said these were not included.-Made of a very durable summer weight Military ABU/ACU/BDU type material.--Buttons covered by cloth to prevent tearing off, just like military uniform-Had the internal 5.11 tags. Some reviews claim this could be a counterfeit. I don't think so.-The 5.11 website does not list the ripstop material as being available anymore. This might mean extra stock, which could explain the discount. If this is true, may want to order before stocks are gone.

These don't have button-down collars and the button loops are horizontal not vertical, like every other standard shirt on the market. The wheel was already invented on this you guys, why did you try to reinvent it? Other shirts like these have pen holders in the sleeves but these do not.It's a good shirt and made well but the other things are just bothersome. When I wear the shirt I have to remember the buttonholes go horizontally and not vertically. They're hidden behind a flap so when you button you can't be standing in a mirror to look to see what the shirt looks like while you are buttoning them. It's kind of a hassle.Also, the buttons are extra large. I'm not sure why because they really don't get you anything more.

Love the fit and they look good while providing lots of pockets. 5.11 is my favorite all around shirt.

Really liked this shirt as it launders nicely. Bought another in a different color. Pricey but worth the money.
