Our smoothies were melting way too quick and turning into soup by the end of it, so we got this to combat the issue. Now they stay frozen and thick for quite some time.The bowl is quite large, a bit too large for my liking. But I do like how wide it is since I usually spread out various toppings of fruit and nuts atop the smoothie.It would be cool if this also came with a lid, for taking stuff to picnics and keeping it cold or hot for longer. Though I could just use a silicone stretch lid so it's not an issue, and we mainly just use it for smoothie bowls anyway.

Bought this as a gift for my son. He likes to eat ice cream while playing video games, so I think he will be very happy with this bowl.

This is in fact double walled. Now it does have heat transference still, but it's not terrible. The problem you'll have if holding it, is that the bowl will feel way cooler than the actual food temp; misleading you to believe the food is cooler and burning your mouth. The only ISSUE I have with it, is that the scraping while eating bothers me a bit to the point I learned to stir the food without touching the bowl with my spork. OBVIOUSLY, you can't microwave it either, but I don't own one so not a factor.

Haven’t used them for ice cream yet but did use with hot soup. Did a fairly nice job of keeping the soup hot. The soup did cool towards the end. Best part was being able to carry bowls of hot soup from the kitchen to the table without being burned.

I have a hard time believing these are actually insulated…I don’t think that they are. They’re good ice cream bowls and dishwasher safe so as like them well enough anyways.

I love these bowls there the perfect size and they keep your food hot or cold without getting your hands cold or hot easy to clean

No more quickly melting ice-cream and no more hot bowls from the soup. (can't microwave in the bowl) I liked it so much that I just use it for everything now. Everyone else in the family likes them so much I ended up buying 2 more.

We bought this for my father who is an ice cream eating aficionado and he said it was the best gift he has ever received. It keeps his ice cream cold, and his hands at a comfortable temperature!
