The price was great for the quality of sound. I was not really expecting the pick ups to be so clean. The pick guard fit my 1990 MIM start perfectly but 3 screw holes were slightly off. Thankfully, I made it work without modification.

Great value all components are operational and flawless volume pot is cheap. The volume will not fade to nothing it simply cuts off around 1 overall good buy

Everything is great about this item: sound, quality, ease of installation. Only flaw is it came with golden screws to install: come on - the mounted items are chrome screws.

These things sound exactly like a strat should! I have a Squier that I was trying to upgrade and boy were these an upgrade. The soldering was super simple that even an unexperienced person like me was able to solder this pickup in place. It was 3 wires the I had to solder which took me 5 minutes. The tone itself is so good! I don't own a fender strat but have played some and this thing sounds just as good if not even better. There is an issue with the quality of one of the pots which is wired as a tone pot. Sounds incredible scratchy as if it's going out. Kind of strange as seeing its a new set of pots, pickups.

I bought this for my Squire (Indonesia) guitar as an upgrade to the disappointing stock pickups. Squire pickups are made with magnets rather than coils, and the ones I bought here look like legit, high quality, wound pickups! The install wasn’t too bad, not all holes fit so I had to drill two new holes, and there was also one ground wire missing on the pre-wired pot, but it was no big deal. I just used the ground that was already on the guitar. Aside from these minor issues, everything went great, it looks great as depicted, and it sounds great! It definitely sounds true to a Stratocaster sound. The aged white looks great on my two tone sunbust!

I put this in a cheap MIM Strat and I am very pleased. I've only played it through my Fender Super Champ XD so far, but the pickups have a very chimey tone. I've heard people use the phrase "bell-like" when describing pickups, but never could understand it until now.The pickups are very responsive to picking dynamics (pick hard they give you nice gritty dirt, pick softer they clean up nicely). The volume knob also has a nice range and cleans up nicely as you roll it back.My Super Champ is a very noisy amp and Strat pickups (single coils) are typically noisy. These pickups are not any more noisy than any other single coils I have used. Besides if your single coils are noisy, you're not playing loud enough.This guitar was designed to be my couch guitar at my cabin, but I just may end up using it as my rehearsal space guitar and it very could likely end up on stage with me as well.TL:DR - Great sound + easy install + great packaging + fast shipping + nice electronic work = Highly recommend.

3/21/2022 - I am shocked, surprised, floored!! I installed this, and WALA, the squire that sounded good, now sounds incredible. I had 2 of my friends, whom have great ears for sound, one played an American Strat, and the other played the Squire Strat, and the sound was impressive. When I told them about the new harness and all, and it's price - the look was priceless - I am so so so appreciative for the savings and I don't plan on ever selling. Love it!!!04/23/2022 - After a year, this is still sounding great - I am so impressed, and so are my friends. Serious, the sound is incredible!!!

I bought this to replace pickups in a cheap guitar and was blown away at how nice they sound for $40. Very quiet and good tone. You really can't go wrong for the price, looks good too.
