Sturdy and Great Shape
I replaced my old grate because it actually melted and started warping in shape. This one has been holding up no problem and is sturdy enough in design that I don't worry. It's a good basket shape that is angled and fits into the fireplace with a little room to spare. More importantly, the logs don't spill off because of the shape during the fire so I don't worry about rolling logs collapsing off the stack. Plenty of room underneath to light logs and keep fire going. Not so tall. Great product.

Preliminary Review of Vestal 330ml
I just got the Vestal 330ml fireplace grate. I haven't used it yet. I'll update the review at a later time. I just wanted to provide potential buyers the actual dimensions.Front Width: 29.500 inchesRear Width: 27.375 inchesDepth (Front-to-Back): 14.125 inchesHeight: 4.00 inches measured at the top surface of the center of the grate. This is not exactly what I needed. I would prefer something deeper and narrower in the back.My old fireplace grate has the following dimensions:Front Width: 29.500 inchesRear Width: 26.250 inchesDepth (Front-to-Back): 15.750 inchesHeight: 2.50 inches measured at the top surface of the center of the grate. The new one fits in the firebox, but it doesn't cover as much area as I'd like.Update (2015.01.09): I've built my first fire. It works great.

Great Grate
My previous fireplace grate was falling apart and no longer holding logs. This grate is truly fantastic. Our fires have been better, it holds logs just perfectly, and no accidentally log roll out. It's a sturdy grate, high enough to provide a lot of latitude and oxygen. It's a great grate (haha, pun intended), and I highly recommend it.

Great replacement to our old one
This was a replacement for a grate that we had for 20 years, we normally use the fireplace about 40 times per year, and we keep it on for 3 hours average. We liked this product because it was wider so it fit nicely in our fireplace. we have been using for 2 weeks and no issues, I will update later this year.came in a box, and fit straight in the fireplace, you need to measure your fire pit to make sure to order the right size. We like how the front end is curved up to prevent the wood from falling forward. The gaps are big enough to allow oxygen to cycle through.

Great buy!
This grate doesn’t cost an arm & a leg but is very sturdy & just the right size for our fireplace.

sturdy and handsome
I have a large fireplace. I bought the home with it's standard size (15") grate. After watching several logs burn in their middle and split in 2 and fall off the small grate I decided to purchase this unit. I haven't had a fire yet (it's suddenly gotten warmer here in N. Texas) but I have confidence this grate will be superb.
