Faster than the old cable
I relocated my desktop computer to another room for online classes and needed a new patch cable. I saw this one and because it was a lower price than most I got it. After moving everything I hooked up and ran a speed test, and now I get a steady and constant 500+Mbps all the time everytime. The other older cable kept me at around 300mbps well worth it

Good Quality for average use, not for serious usage
I have higher speed ethernet / wireless home network . The cable company Gateway is in my basement office and I have access points on the upper floors. I ordered this cable sold as cat 5e to move an upstairs access point to a different area. Prior to adding the cable, as a test, I moved the access point which was on a 60 foot run and connected it directly to the gateway in basement using this new 30 ft cable . The old 60 foot cat 5e was averaging 500 MB using different network speed tests. When attached directly to the gateway with this 30 foot cat 5e cable the speed dropped to an average of 230 MB. That's greater than a 50% speed loss with a cable 50% of the length. There are so many sellers with cables that have the wires and connections of cat 5e, but not the capability to operate as such. Gave these a 3 rating as they would work fine in a more typical residential usage. They don't kink, are flexible however they are 30 gauge w/o any shielding. I returned them..

Flat cable helps from tangles
I’m using these CAT5 cables in my outdoor RGB light show, where controllers are being daisy chained to one another. I need different lengths between controllers and the CAT5 cable needs to lay flat across the ground from controller to controller. The flat nature of these cables allows for a low profile and doesn’t tangle up or create kinks in the cable runs. Traditional twisted pair CAT5 cable is just too hard to keep from tangling and kinking. These flat cables are much more manageable to put into use year after year when putting together a show and tearing down a show. Highly recommended for use cases like these where the installation isn’t permanent. Cable comes in a variety of lengths, which is another good feature.

Great cable.
Good strong cable made of durable materials. It felt really solid, but flexible. Not like cheap plastic. It was a flat ribbon style cable, so keep that in mind. I plugged it into my Gateway, and desktop, and it worked instantly. No loss of signal or jitter.Nice glossy black coating blends in well with the carpet, and it goes behind my desk, you can't even see it.

You get what you paid
Comprare to other sellers. I can say that they have the best price, but the quality is not the best. Mine got stuck in my router and it took me a while to take it out and it almost broke completely. Is a good product if you planning to use it one time. Like for a TV o a Playstation. Something that you don't have to touch it all the time. It won't work for a laptop or something like that. I'll get stuck.

I have had a lot of network cables...
I have had a lot of network cables that seemed chincy. These seem well made and good looking. Oh and by the way they are fast and easy to hide.

Small and compact due to being flat and works well
Although Cat5e is an older standard, it offers the speeds that I need. I have a 400mbps internet connection at home and Cat5e is still more than adequate. I chose this over a Cat6 cable simply because it was flat and thin and take up less space in the tight area behind my desk than a Cat6 or 7 cable. Since I only needed a few feet of cabling, I wasn't concerned with interference. If you're looking for a thin cable with good build quality and fast speeds, this isn't a bad choice

Great when it's on sale
Cable works as expected, and the boot is sturdy. Note that while it comes nicely bundled, when you unwind it, it becomes a tangled mess (tip: if you have somewhere high to dangle the cable off, that's the easiest way to flatten it). I wouldn't buy this at the regular Amazon price though.

FLAT is the new THICC. Grips n Hugs your modem/router like BAE. Fair Price.
"Thickness doesn't matter, it's what you do with it." Asif. 😁- Sleek.- Flattened is the new THICC.- Great Locking-mechanism at both the ends. No more disconnecting from the internet due to broken RJ45 connector ends on modem and WiFi router.- Pretty decent length and Price.A MUST-HAVE if you're experiencing random disconnect due to broken pins on your eth cable.

Thin, short, useful.
The cable seems fine. The way to take the cable off is a little weird cause it doesn't completely fit when you plug the ethernet so you need you push it in more. And the cable is quite thin so you can see lots of bumps in the wire.
